You're right, but I think most people Frank's action made Frank and Miami look like the jackasses in the situation, not KSU.

If he leaves, I agree with this.

If he gets rejected, he easily makes Ksu and its fans look like jackasses.

To be fair, most of us are jackasses though.   :dunno:

Welcome to the anti-Frank bandwagon, guys.

For the record, I'd rather have Currie than Frank. My biggest worry is it soothes over Curries appetite for a new major coaching hire and Bill gets to die on the sidelines.

Currie is just jealous because Frank will likely escape K-State before he can.

We're in for some rough times with or without Frank, mostly due to Frank's shitty recruiting. And the "coaching carousel" is absolutely entertaining.

But hey, let's pretend we will enjoy watching JO and Nick play something resembling basketball.

the powerespect(s) chum keeps referring to, its you.  I won't even waste anyones time destroying your assessment of Frank.  The fact that you don't understand that fiscally responsible ADs are a dime a dozen tells us all we need to know about you.  John Currie is an accountant who answers powertards emails.

Rusty & chum are puttin in work, no need for me to PI anyone.

Realistically, we're going to rough ridin' hurt if Frank leaves, because Currie is gonna get some SLTH from a shitty mid major.

Lots of the same people saying the same stuff.  I'm looking forward to Miami hiring in the next 24 hours & UCONN looking for a new coach when Yahoo! Sports decides that they aren't done with Calhoun, or whoever they decide to investigate this summer.

It stalled and the natives are getting restless.

I can't imagine a "Frank Martin/Open Miami Job" situation going well...especially one that lasts a fortnight.

And by going well, I mean not seeing most KSU BBS's turning into "Lord of the Flies".

There was a story a couple years ago about Frank that mentioned his son from his first marriage visiting during Christmas vacation and how badly Frank felt when he had to send him home to Miami, in part because of his relationship his own father. Thought at the time, Frank would do anything to get back there.
he probably has half a dozen little Franks running the streets of Miami, that's got to be it...he's doing it for the children

Coaching Carousel Master Thread: Day 20

Infighting rampant.  Tribes formed.  Looting begins.  A few couches set on fire.

imo, the fact this is dragging on and Miami's public targets are Derek Jeter and the dude who invented Facebook, is making this situation worse.

nice work

Also, I can't quite figure out why (other than KITN) people are so convinced that Currie's hire after Frank (whether it's not or 3 years from now) will be a shitty one.  What possible evidence is there of that?  I mean, I'm not saying he's gonna knock it out of the park, but we have no evidence either way.  Literally...none.  Does this all just stem from the KITNphobia?  :dunno:

Just an assumption by most people. It could go either way. Currie needs the bright spot on his resume, but then again he would be hiring for K-State...so could be interesting if/when we need a new coach

like, imo, whether frank was or wasn't lobbying for the job is irrelevant.  what's relevant is that a large percentage of the fan base thinks he was/is.

Do the really think this?  And a large percentage of them?  I agree with whoever said earlier that hardly anyone is paying any attention to this.

Yeah, I've realized over the past few days that there are very few K-State fans even following this situation very closely. I have a lot of friends that frequent this site regularly and are super EMAW, but they've relied on me updating them on the Frank crap because they aren't even following this thing.
