for the purposes of negotiation, miami's offer is irrelevant. ksu may feel it needs to offer more to keep him, but the point is not simply to outbid miami.

Maybe. Would be hilarious. It would seem that money is far from the biggest issue frank would need to overcome to get into the miami conversation, though.
