no, he really wouldn't be.
the days of pullen, clemente, and curt are gone.  let them go.
he couldn't even get his team into the ncaa's this season with the benefit of playing in the sec and with the easiest rotation of the sec schedule that he will ever have.  he would be far underwater in this conference.

He'd be starting with a better roster

(thanks oscar)

Frank would absolutely ruin Wade's head. It'd be Spradling all over again but would make for great BBSing

Yes.  They aren't used to being spoke to by Latinos in that fashion, Michigancat.

is there anything at this point that would stop SLU from hiring oscar? doesn't look like it if you ask me.

Contract extension and a pay raise. Currie already lost one coach to a lesser program, he'll be damned if it happens again

Would it surprise you?  With the Underwood ship having sailed, I am thinking Currie would double down on Weber long before he lets the job open up

In all seriousness when I see Pitt hiring Kevin Stallings I'm scared shitless about what a coaching search would look like for us. (KK said this first)

Well it seems the two big 12 jobs were the best fits and they went after other, less qualified, coaches first. CBB Rooney Rule?

I'm sure his reputation with the NCAA was a factor. But yeah, I think an NCAA Rooney rule would be good.
