What if this year's Heisman race comes down to Waters and Marshall? Would be pretty great!

might be fun
Those Tigers will have to run the table after we smoke them. They have to go 11-1 for him to even get a sniff. Maybe even play us close.

Wait, how does a guy that knows we where going after another highly ranked Juco QB and was fine with it all the sudden become butt hurt because he heard the recruiting pitch to Waters? Because I doubt that nowhere in the process was it insinuated Marshall could be in Klein's place one day.
Because it made Marshall look like the 2nd option, before that he probably believed he was 1 or 1a. Only if Klein knew you could make another call.
It's still a little weird that it made him that upset that suddenly his supposed top school suddenly was not an option at all. If he didn't know about Waters then it would make sense, but if he knew that KState wanted both and wanted them both to compete for the starting job, while still telling him he could be the next Bishop it shouldn't have come as too much a shock that they where telling the other guy the same thing. Am I just overestimating his intelligence?

I think he was like 20-21 and as people that age tend to do, got offended over something that probably wasn't a big deal. I just don't think you want to publicize that you tell every recruit he's your #1 choice.

Let me break something down here for ya. As we all love a dual threat qb (black preferred but you guys won't admit it, cause that's what we know as a success under snyder), you guys have never given Waters a chance. Dude just had an absolute complete game in his last three starts, but you're still drooling over what could have been? Waters is perfect for our current offense. He's got the arm to throw to one of the top play makers in the NCAA and can run enough to keep the D honest. Sometimes I wonder what you all are watching on Saturday?

Waters had a nice 1st quarter and 4th quarter on Saturday against the 2nd worst team in the Big 12. The fans will love Waters when he finally beats a quality opponent. We need consistency from the QB position if we are going to compete for a championship, and Waters has not been consistent.

I liked his video well enough.  Forces some sketchy balls into coverage, like a lot of JUCO QB's, but you can coach that out of him.  Nick Marshall did the same thing and now look at him.

I'm all for giving him a scholarship.

If nothing else he gives you an athlete who can raise the level of the QB competition next year. Probably worth a scholly just for that. Any production would be gravy.

Just read a facilities project update and I'm pretty concerned that the "Georgia Studs" annex to the admissions office is behind schedule.

New visitor for the Auburn game. Yes please.
He doesn't look all that fast, but really cuts well. If we can't flip him for Minnesota I am going to flip crap. Still mad about De'Vondre Campbell.

Florida is really the only school that's head and shoulders above the rest.   Minnesota reminds me of Iowa.   Both offer some cool stuff to recruits but never really do much on the field.

Looks like a good slot receiver.  Good hands, nice body, good change of direction.

Blocks like James Terry.  Really gets after it.

Delton looks really sharp. Nice zip on the ball, very fast, etc.

He will compete for the starting spot next year.
