Djoker wins 3rd straight GS. Naomi wins 2nd straight. She is a superstar in the making.

Djokovic really impressive.  6-3 6-2 6-3 over Rafa. Total pts won 89 to 53.  Won last 17 sets on hardcore against Nadal.  Since 2011, he's 21-9 vs Rafa (14-2 on hardcourt/Grass, 7-7 on clay)

1) Houston has 7M cap no matter what. 21M to keep him. Redo his deal, maybe get his cap number down to  14M for 2019
2) Franchise Ford for 16M
3) Cut XWilliams and DirtyDan. Saves 5.2M

We get Ford/Houston. Lose X and Dan.  Only cost us about 4M vs Current Cap. Obviously if Houston doesn't redo his deal, we can't keep both Edge rushers

Yes, i'm drunk, obvs.  I meant roughing.  But there were way more non-calls on Chiefs PI that they didn't call.  I just only see people signing change.org petitions about how the Chiefs got "screwed" and it's like these people honestly think that the NFL wanted the patriots to win so bad that they picked a penalty on 2nd and 7 to ruin the Chiefs framchise.

I don't think KC got screwed.  The Roughing the passer was a joke.  Edelman overturn gets the "call stands" 90% of the time in Regular Season, but KC gets 1-2 PI if this was regular season game.

It's just as funny if a "Patriots/non KC " fan was bitching as if a Chiefs fan was bitching that the Refs were unfair.

Chiefs lost mainly because NE was 6-7 on 3rd & 7+ yds to go.   And a 3rd & 10 interception was nullified by a dumb flag.

How long is the ref supposed to allow for the defense to sub?  Can they just always take their time and cause a delay, or force a timeout?

Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

I'm assuming this is when NE lined up on 4th & 1 and then ran the punt team on.  Refs also give ample time for the defense to sub when the offense subs. Patriots waiting too long to sub out.  Don't wait til 10 on the play clock.

And the facemask didn't matter, because Brady was converting that 3rd and 7, just like he was doing the entire game.

Wasn't a facemask.  It was roughing the passer.  And yes, NE was 6-7 on 3rd & long in the game.  Nontheless, it was still a bad call

I'm fine with not bringing back Bailey, Morse, Sherman, Nelson, or Harris. All FAs

Good read. Craig knows his defense.

Ragland could be trade bait.  If Ford is back & Houston gone, we will need to find a SAM

Blitzing 6. And trying to play zone with the 5. Lol Bob.  Fortunately, Brady immediately looked to Hogan and threw the out route.  Edelman and the FB were wide open, and Gronk isn't exactly covered

J Rake,

You are absolutely correct. Fuller and Nelson both taking the same WR was really bad.

On that 3rd & 10 and the next 3rd & 10....why in the blue hell do we have 2 safeties playing that deep?  Brady threw 3 passes 20+ yds all game.   Have the 2 safeties way closer, possibly doing a double team on Edelman or Gronk

I think Wade Phillips is a good DC, and I think most in the NFL think he is good or above average. His last 7 years as a DC, his teams ave rank on Pts allowed was 13.1

 :buh-bye:
I’m not as concerned as how his teams did defensively as HC as I am how they did when he was DC, which was really good. We’re all aware he flopped as a HC.

Yes.  I don't think SS is the best DC out there, but it's not a horrible hire

6 years as a DC. His ave rank on Pts allowed was 18.7 (17,5,31,27,2,30).  His Saints 2012 DC season with Payton suspended was a disaster.  His 5 years as NYG DC ave 16.2.  Not eye popping numbers but he's not a bad DC either

KK doing 1 of his spin jobs. He always talks about how yards don't matter, and then posts these numbers

Long?? Ohhh-kay

One of my 2 posts today was 3 stats about the game.

 :billdance:

3) KC 1st half offense- Number of plays of 10+ yds (2). Number of plays we lost 10 yds or more (3)

Number of plays: 15.

Technically 16 plays. Still atrocious.

Also really bad. Pass to Hill, 42 yds. Other 15 plays, Minus 10 yds.

Chiefs first 5 drives (not counting the 1 play drive to end 1st half) = 3 drives we had miscues, missed opportunities or NE made an impactful defensive play

1) 3rd & 1.  Can't convert on a run. No gain. Punt
2) Overthrow on a sure fire TD to DWill. Then a QB sack of 14 yds knocking us out of FG range.
3) False start by Cam. Drop by Kelce that would have set up 2nd and short at the very least. 3 yd loss on a sack. Punt that gives NE the ball at KC 37

1) Brady 46 dropbacks. KC got 5 pressures (10.9%). Mahomes 36 dropbacks. NE got 16 pressures (44.4%)

2) Brady on 3rd down and 4+ yds to go -- 8 for 9, 114 yds

3) KC 1st half offense- Number of plays of 10+ yds (2). Number of plays we lost 10 yds or more (3)
