His stand up reviews are very mixed. He sometimes is too drunk. He sometimes uses his paid shows to workshop material, and lately he apparently has some Lauren Hill in him. This with the phone thing is too much for me. Too much BS for too much money, I'd just rather watch him on TV or Netflix when I know I'll get a good show.

fwiw, the last two comedy shows I went to (bargatze and gaffigan) both prohibited the use of phones, and I can understand why
it’s be really hard to concentrate on making people laugh with all that crap going on
to me, the request is nbd

that said, im not really cool with dave acting like a dbag in his old age and have no desire to support him anymore than I already have, so the thought of overpaying to see his crusty ass never came to mind

The roulette aspect of not knowing what you’re gonna get drives me more to live stuff (which I rarely go to), but I’m not gonna overspend or bust my ass to get there. I’d just as soon grab some cheap tickets to a local show.

Regarding the roulette aspect, I saw him in Austin like 7-8(?) years ago, and it ended up being one of the shows that got put in Netflix. "Deep in the Heart of Texas," I believe. He did the phone thing back then, too.

Chappelle was incredible. great experience. he was definitely pak'd by the end of the show but it didn't negatively impact anything.

I don't believe anything Ray J says about anything ever, which puts me in the position of siding with the Kardashians which is not something I would do almost hardly ever. The only time I was team Kardashian is when people used to fat shame Khloe back in the day.

Rock was great, but I think there’s a case for Hart before he sold out too. He had some really funny stand ups. To each their own.
