the royals are the best team in baseball and it's not even close

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Over a 3 year span, we've been good, really good, and great, without a top level starter or power hitter. Its amazing.

Royals only the 3rd worst team in MLB.   :emawkid:

Big picture... you don't see it.

Oh yeah, the "big picture" line again.

The problem with your bump fap fest Passive Aggressive Lib is that if you had been around, you would have heard the "big picture" line for what amounted to decades.

When I was in high school, the Colorado Rockies began their franchise. It was close enough and a new team, so I thought I'd start becoming a fan. Though I'd never been a huge Royals fan, I had followed them as a kid and remember the World Series in 1985 well, but by the early 90s they had already begun falling apart as a franchise. I followed the Rockies closely (and more closely than the Royals) their first few years in the Dante Bachette/Andres Galaraga era, but slowly gave up interest and gravitated back to the Royals.

Since then the Rockies have been far from great, but still finished above .500 7 times, made 3 playoff appearances, and even made an appearance in the World Series a few years ago.

The Royals have finished above .500 once and now in the most hopeful Royals season since the early 90s they are already 10 games under .500.

:sigh:

I should've stuck with the Rockies.

I'm excited. I like baseball season.

me too.  warm weather.

Ya. I also like not being nervous about the outcome of any games. It's fun cheering for a team without caring whether they win or lose.

We've come a long ways.

The Royals are probably my favorite sports team right now and have been for the last 2 years or so.

Hey, since the WS outcome is essentially a formality at this point, why not let the Mets get this last win in front of home fans, and then KC can clinch back at home?  Seems like a win-win-win to me!
