Gary Pinkel defends JoePa. Reply
I guess you have to give the guy credit for making an unpopular statement, but I'd have to question whether he's had one too many jumbo glasses of wine before the interview.

In Gary's defense he was probably just drunk again or strung out on meth.

"But I just think the common sense factor of jumping on top of things fast and making sure there's an analysis and making sure that there's follow-up, I think that's really, to me ? and I don't read a lot about it ? but I think there's certainly a lot of lessons to learn from everybody."
And the best analysis to be done and have his opinion offered by someone who isn't reading a lot about it.
I say again, coaches are coaches. Some are leaders, but to assume that the term is mutually inclusive is bullshit. JoePa wasn't a leader. Pinkel isn't a leader.

It is interesting that the Penn State folks are now saying Joe was human and he made a mistake. No, Joe committed a crime, to keep himself and the program bigger than life.

for those who don't know he got his DUI on his way to his girlfriends house, that's part of the reason he and his wife are getting a divorce
