Thinking of purchasing this large property. Obviously, would need some capital. Is the cash flow from an operation this size sufficient to service debt (and taxes) on a property like this? Plus some labor, I guess.

Go ahead and buy this Spracs.  I would be more than happy to keep the waterfowl in check for you.

These buildings were across the road from each other.

So I did some creeping on these old abandoned buildings/homes while hunting today.

Here are the 3 buildings I creeped on

The one on the far left might have been an old school house as I found some old text books and stuff in there.

Here are some pictures from the house on the right. I really liked the windows along the side of the house and figured it was a sunroom type area but it was just a hallway inside.

There was a piano tho!

I'm fascinated by houses that were abandoned with all of the possessions and furniture just left in place. Nice photos.

There was a house on my uncle's farm that had TV left inside as well as canned stuff still lined up in the cellar. It was like rural KS was depopulated by nuclear forces instead of economic forces. Old houses that have curtains being blown around because windows are all broken out fascinate me, also. So many genres of decay porn to sample in rural KS

I'm just speculating but I think a lot of them were great depression victims where they lost the land and had to GTFO. also probably a lot where the owner died and the property was bought by a farm/ranch operation with no intent or need for anyone to live there. obviously the consolidation of land (HOMESTEADS!) under larger operators is a big factor overall.
