Peterson should have went to UCLA when he had the chance.

Agreed, but I think he likes the Pacific NW.  He doesn't need to change anything about his recruiting at all.  He recruits, primarily, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and California already.  He's known all over the place there.  He's just moving to a new school.

So I guess all of those rumors of him tied to much better jobs were wrong? I'm skeptical about how much success he will have, seems small-timey.
Lower expectations than a USC type program, still making amazing money, area he's familiar with recruiting wise, and if he does well and gets the itch to go to a USC type school he's still young enough to do that. Everyone assumes coaches just want to go to the biggest name school possible, maybe with him it was more about long term comfort level for himself and family :dunno:

Will he break the trend of successful Boise coaches who nose dive at larger schools?

Answer: Probably not.

Is it too crazy to think Dana Dimel could have this job if he wanted it?

some of my uw people actually think petersen's small timeyness could be beneficial, in so far as the geographic isolation of the PNW creates an us against them mentality and sark being a so cal guy always made him seem like an outsider. petersen also has to be a better scheme guy than sark. still, sark massively raised the talent level and i'm skeptical petersen can maintain or improve that aspect.

Considering Colorado State hired Alabama's defensive coordinator, I'd say Boise can find someone much better.

Rhodes will get fired next year. KSU, TCU, and UT are possibilities. Minimum of 3 max of 6.

Rhoads** won't get fired unless he goes 3-9 or worse again. Probably going to get 2-3 seasons to let the new offensive coordinator get settled.

 :impatient:

I TOLD YOU MIR!

There isn't a non Iowa State fan in the world that sees 4 wins in that schedule. They have 4 games; NDSU, whatever mac team they're playing for homecoming, ku, and wvu that they have any even remote chance of winning and its possible that they will only be favored in 1 game all season.

He gone

That should make havs happy but ISU fans are simple moronic vapid imbecilic rubes. Derp he is firey and lived in ankeny herp. Doi we're not alabama doe. (Picks nose) he's better than Cheesy K (wipes on tongue).

Yes they call Chizik Cheesy K, idiots.

based on Shanahan comments in his presser I wouldn't put it past him to quit.  He sounds very unhappy.

Chip Kelly makes $6.5M per year.  That would be a big raise, even for Briles.

The Dallas news says that Briles new deal puts him at $4M per year, which is top 10 for college coaches.
