It's probably just to get a pay raise, but apparently him and Arkansas AD spent a lot of time at Michigan together. Who knows. Crazier things have happened.

Want Gary to go to Auburn, If he leaves the conference it increase our odds of him coming back home someday. Also get Gundy out of the conference, It is in the Big 12s best interest if OSU & TCU drop off a bit and easy up the schedule.

OT, but funny. Southern Miss had a shot at a BCS bowl last year. They just fired their new coach after 1 year for going 0-12.

I'll tell you fuckers something, and I believe this. I believe that Dan Hawkins will win again, and at a fairly high level. I think Colorado is a rough ridin' grave yard since Barnett left, and probably before. Their AD came out today and outlined just how far behind they are from where they need to be in every facet of D1 football (facilities, salaries, etc.).

I think Hawkins was hamstrung at Colorado. He's a goofy bastard, but I think he's better than what it appeared at Colorado.

Knoxville, TN-News Channel 3 has learned former NFL coach Jon Gruden has a contract offer in hand from the University of Tennessee and a decision could be made as early as Wednesday. Part of the offer is Gruden getting a piece of the NFL’s Cleveland Browns, who were recently bought by Jim Haslam, one of UT’s biggest boosters who played on the Vols’ national championship teams in the early fifties. He’s also the father of Tennessee governor Bill Haslam. A potential hangup could be over money Gruden may be owed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from his stint as head coach there that ended in 2008. The NFL is looking into the conflict of owning part of one team while getting money from another. Gruden is currently working as an NFL analyst for ESPN. He started his coaching career in 1986 as a graduate assistant at Tennessee where he met his wife, a former UT cheerleader. Gruden’s two head coaching stints in the NFL were with Oakland and Tampa Bay. He coached the Bucs to a Super Bowl win in the 2002 season.

this thread might be as long as the cigars thread by the end f the summer if that happened, dominos would fall everywhere. pretty sure tressel would get hired this year if that happened and that would bum me out i think if bill comes back next year and then retires and he is still available thats who we should go after
