One of the best parts of GOT is getting to talk with people about it each week. Season 6 has been great because I can discuss episodes with my buds who read the books. Everyone is on level ground now.

So obviously I don't know that Jon was inside Ghost but the way Ghost woke up then Jon woke up....it was like the real Ghost was waking up for the first time in a few days as Jon left his mind and woke up in his own body.

This season is supposedly the best for Jon Snow yet so some important stuff is going to happen with him. After we learn about his parentage in those flashback scenes that are going to happen next week, he is going to need to start honing his warging powers so he will eventually be able to warg into a dragon.

The dire wolves have always had a 6th sense when it comes to their respective Stark owners. Ghost was sad because his companion was not waking up. Once life came back into Jon's body Ghost sensed it and perked up.

it'd be a lot cooler if he warged into the wolf to live again than if it was just some red god nonsense. i assume these tv writer dudes want the show to be cool, but i dunno, maybe not.

If Jon warged into Ghost then why did it take some Lord of Light magic for him to come back to life? Without Mel would he have just stayed in Ghost forever?

I think the show is quite obviously pointing to a warg connection bw Jon and Ghost. The question is whether Ghost woke up bc Jon was coming back life, or did Jon not come back right away bc Ghost was sleeping? I'm leaning toward the latter theory bc that's what the repeated camera shots back and forth bw Ghost and Snow seem to be suggesting. I'd guess that Jon is going to reveal that he saw at least some of the aftermath through Ghost's eyes.

Regardless, Snow is back and ready to kick some ass. I cannot wait until next epi when he comes sauntering up to the traitors' ice cells...

Enjoyed the Ned flashback.

So we're doing the iron islands thing? Meh. Ok, but meh.

Did not miss Dany. Not one bit.

Ramsay is such a cold hearted eff. He just keeps upping his game. Killing babies is just the worst part of this show.

Lannisters are kinda meh right now and I expect they'll remain that way for a while.
