Welcome to Aggieville, ESPN friends.

Yeah, except I bet they'd be further East.  They're going to need a ton of room to accomodate for the thousands and thousands of people who will be in the street.  This thing is going to make Fake Patty's Day look like a Tuesday night in June, people-wise.

Are you suggesting ESPN and the ESPN family of networks set up shop in front of the PI World Headquarters?

If they want to have the backdrop in the West, I think PI might be a good spot, but probably even farther.

It will look just fine here:

What is that? Topeka?  :barf:

Can't be.  Topeka is east of Manhattan.  That's gotta be Ogden.

why would anyone stand 2 blocks down the street when you can't even see the stage or anything that's going on?  Think if they do it in aggieville, people far away will just get bored and go in a bar and drink.

Seriously though, this sucks.  Anderson would be way better than Aggieville.  No matter where you put it there's gonna be some dumbass business in the background looking all rinky-dink.

"Subway!  Eat fresh!"

"Varney's!  Bend over, fuckwads!"

"Ballard's!  We used to be bigger!"

"Krystallo's!  Come make some bead necklaces or something!"

(This is all assuming we get GameDay, which we won't because we've jinxed ourselves.)

YAY! and we can celebrate with a dropping of the little apple new year's strawberry to kick the party off at 9AM!  :ksu:

Also Anderson is the best option and anything else is a dissapointment.

They have jumbotrons.

So I can stand outside in the back of a huge crowd where I can barely see the stage and NOT drink while watching it on jumbotrons, or I could step inside a nearby bar where I can't see the stage and sit down and watch it in HD WHILE I drink.

That's not a tough choice.

Exactly.

FTR, I would prefer Anderson, but Aggieville is a pretty cool unique thing to K-State.  Every campus in the country has an old building with a huge lawn.

Those saying "Yeah, but I'll get bored and probably just want to go into a bar and drink" are Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) because no matter where it's located, if you're in the back, it's going to be hard to see.  So, unless you show up around 5 am or so, you'll probably have to watch the jumbotron.
