Quote from: sonofdaxjones on October 03, 2015, 08:23:27 PMHe is the QB because this staff didn't recruit for crap, and ran off a kid because Dana Dimel didn't like his high stepping. When your options after Ertz, are: The slowest converted receiver in history. A Freshman A JC Transfer who just got to campus. Several other nobodies. You haven't recruited for crap. They recruited fine, next season we will have the best QB from Iowa in his year, the best QB from Kansas in his year, and the best QB from Missouri in his year who nearly was an elite 11 QB. They've made plenty of mistakes we can crap on, this isn't one.

That's next year, why are we pointing to next year, at year 6 of Snyder II?

Still zero difference makers at the RB position. DITR wet dream at WR.

Too early to tell with Silmon and Warmack is one of the most heralded recruits we've ever had. You got me on the wide outs although they don't seem to be as bad as some thought they would be.

I think we were all giving Hubener a bit of a pass because of the perceived lack of talent at WR but then a WR came in to play QB and didn't seem to have any trouble finding open WR's. Hubener is probably worst QB we've had since AE.He went on the game winning drive. Then our ST kicked the ball out of bounds, our D gave up a 4th and 8 conversion and oSu continued to drive down the field for a chip shot FG. That drive was essentially one play, it seems clear that he can't consistently move the ball without getting a bomb and he isn't dynamic enough in the QB run game to be a legitimate threat. The take away from this game for me is how in the world is he the starting QB?

He is what he is.But Joe was likely out there concussed and still got us the lead. This is not on the offense, the offense all things considered was stellar. This loss is on ST and defense. The defense made two huge plays, the ST made zero and several huge negatives.
How was he allowed back in the game after literally being knocked unconscious? Was that a crime?

Quote from: Bookie Pimp on October 04, 2015, 08:14:56 AMFACT: One can be knocked out WITHOUT being concussed. Curious where are you getting that. I'd understand it more if your argument was being unconscious speaks nothing of the severity, which is where the medical staff did their job properly in diagnosis. Thought the definition of a concussion was loss of normal brain function due to head trauma.
