Yep, I saw that guy and thought “well that about sums it up”.

this guy is an iowa state fan's idol on twitter now, not surprisingly they aren't embarassed by this.
I burn with rage toward these monsters. I'm in disbelief that any human would be capable of disrespecting our coach in this manner.

This looks like an SNL skit starting to tank...

Interesting take on SXM with Neuheisel and Childers this morning about Moore: He makes all the sense in the world to promote, EXCEPT: he has no players to "bring with him" via the portal.

Keeping with the theme of the Nazi Atlantic wall construction of KU Memorial Stadium - something that even the unknowing construction eye would immediately pick up on.

The old girl proved not to be a soft underbelly, but rather a tough old gut in the demo process.

The amount of reinforced concrete in that ol' gal ... Someone said, and I admittedly have not confirmed it, that it was more concrete than was used in the Hoover Dam.

Admire that someone's ambition, but no.  The amount in Memorial was maybe 1-2 days' worth of concrete placed at Hoover.  They were running concrete continuously 12 hours a day for a couple years with only Christmas and Thanksgiving off in general.  In another measure, the amount of concrete in Hoover Dam would cover a football field to a height greater than the original World Trade Center Towers.

What's with the Dana/Winston Dimel names on his locker?

good eye. obviously an old name plate that was used for something, but i cannot really piece together why it would be there on that locker in the year of our lord 2024, and why Dana and Winston would be on the same name plate.

Dimel Family Locker sponsorship?

Is anyone else concerned that if Tomlin transfers to another school that it will clearly show that nothing bad happened and that this is all Linton’s fault and then probably entire student body will show up at his house?

With the information vacuum being what it is, I think you have to assume that Tomlin transferring and playing at a reputable institution is pretty damning for our admin.
Could be disastrous for them

I'm convincing myself that, while painful in the moment, this is the path leading to the best of what are increasingly looking to be bad outcomes.  Rip the band aid and all.

Maybe it's something worse than you can possibly imagine, and everyone at KSU is doing everything in their power to protect the kid.

I feel we're somewhere in this zip code, combined with a well-intended but ultimately incoherent strategy involving Tang's Positive OutlookTM, Linton's Priesthood of Administrative Bureaucracy, and Gene interpreting back and forth.

Yeah - The Title IX mentions seem to be a bunch of "Scary Words" if all we have is the Tubby's incident, and it was truly collateral and a singular event - not the culmination of a pattern.

I kept thinking about that game where we didn't bring the longer cleats with us. Which game was that?

Something during the Ron Prince Love Sweepstakes years. Thinking maybe the Texas bowl vs Syracuse, but that was in NRG.  Maybe Rutgers in the Pinstripe, or at Louisville.

Everyone on the site f/k/a Twitter are losing it on farmageddon and while I am kinda sad about it, I also don't care. Maybe I'll feel differently in 2027. Just cause you play a school a lot doesn't mean you always have to.

I'm in general ok with the whole thing. I also don't love it. Mostly apathetic about it tbh.

Pretty much....the "Farmageddon" part is a much more recent aspect - I think it popped up in the original Conference Armageddon as manufactured hype after losing Neb, CU, and Mizzou.

This is turning into one of the funniest/dumbest scandals in recent memory.  Now they have footage of the Michigan sign stealer guy on the CMU sideline wearing CMU gear in a game against Sparty earlier this season.  To top it off he's wearing sunglasses during a night game and not just ordinary sunglasses but Rayban Wayfarer spy sunglasses that are capable of recording video.  Like it's all completely bonkers and sounds made up but it's true.  Allegedly.

And this is the analyst guy who's ex-military, correct? Like he's living out his James Bond fantasies or something?

Yeah, it is.  Neuheisel and Childers were playing up that aspect this morning talking about the CMU stuff and "Connor Stalions, International Man of Mystery"

What exactly did Brent do that was so :lol at the end of the game? YTTV wouldn’t show the game while we were driving thru North Texas.

Worlds collide btw, as we drove past a sparsely populated UNT stadium shortly after the game ended. Bad day for OU offensive analyst Seth LittreLL.

I've never coached football.  I don't know crap about coaching football.  This was one of the worst coached games I've ever seen.  OU gems would be soooo good today.

That really was: constantly making the wrong reads on give/keep on offense, and taking the bait on play action on D.  And what in the Wide, wide world of sports were they trying to do on that possession following the INT in the 4th?

His chin titties are much worse.  What's going on there?

I had not noticed this before

Cannot unsee now.  Skin no longer holding chin implants in place?

From a relatively recent history perspective, it seems crazy to believe that this situation was actually close to being resolved (at least in a political/practical sense). It's also worth recalling that Netanyahu is a piece of crap and has always been a piece of crap.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/oct/31/assassination-yitzhak-rabin-never-knew-his-people-shot-him-in-back

Yeah - I think any chance for a 2-State solution died that day.  The assassin did his job doubly well: Any political authority or capacity died with Rabin. It's just taken this long for the sand in the hourglass to run out.

Yeah - its coalition government.  But nothing is likely to happen until a stasis is reached in this Gaza operation, or it bogs down, or goes badly with Israeli casualties.  But their reckoning is coming.

Are you still alleging that Iran's $6 billion that Qatar has frozen was the source for this offensive or have you let that one go?

Are you still trying to deny that the $6 billion that was unfrozen for the Iranians didn't make them feel emboldened.

I am now specifically talking about the over $100 million in "aid" that was sent to Gaza.

Your claim is now speculating on how the Iranians feel? How many steps down the logical chain is Hamas from Iran's feelings?

The overall political feeling and actual actions in Iran towards supporting Hamas are 1A on the Iranian feelings/actions chart.

Iran's BFF re: Israel is Hezbollah.  Apart from sinking any KSA-Israel agreement and putting stress to the Abraham Accords, I don't see Iran having much actual ongoing interest in having Hamas riding their coattails while being the Crazy.  $100 billion in frozen funds is what their eye is on, and Hamas just set that back to nearly square one.

This M.O. was also pretty far outside the pale of Hezbollah/Iran actions.  But it does line up with other actors who have a huge reason to divert the attention of the West.

Israel's concern is war material aid and fighters crossing the border - both ways.  They are serious at the moment about ending Hamas as a functional org and don't want individuals slipping the area.

I think there's a possibility to establish a trans-loading operation: Aid gets delivered thru Egypt, offloaded literally at the border, inspected, picked up, and crossed into Gaza.  But the schedule to establish this is so far behind the curve, that.....I don't know.  That's the big question: we all know what's immediately coming, but its what comes next that is just a black hole right now.

Egypt is supremely suspicious of Israel wanting to push (previously), force (currently) as many Gaza Palestinians into the Sinai as possible.  I would think they would also be wary of creating further conditions at the border enabling a bum rush out of Gaza, overwhelming Egyptian security/AF.

Will be interesting to see if/when Egypt takes in refugees after Israel goes into Gaza with the full force of their attack.

They absolutely won't directly.  I think the best hope here is for a third party (Jordan, Turkey(?)) backed by US/EU funding/logistics to set up and manage a buffer in Gaza at the crossing.

SOURCES are saying Bean is the starter on Saturday.

Bean absolutely roasts crappy defenses.

No he doesn't. He struggles with decision making.

Rare pun opportunity miss by spracs here.

Roll that beautiful Bean footage.
