Wow that's pretty great, having a wedding reception right next to the football stadium.  Obviously some true Rock Chalkers right there!

If we start making fun of his aspect endlessly, do you think they might put giant tarps over it or something.

The parking amazes me there. Like, they had no plan for it at all when building around the stadium. Pretty fantastic.

Should be thankful that there's so few WWII Vets left, particularly one's who had to land at Normandy?   I can only imagine the flashbacks if they ever had to a attend a game at that stadium.   Must have been terrifying for them.

I'm sure parking in people's lawns,  like all social elites do,  was the plan all along.

Really disappointing, that hill to the West of the Stadium has looked like that for decades.   Would have thought by now they would have incorporated some additional walking paths with various overlook points and sitting areas . . . really missing an opportunity here.

Just don't make fun of the tents too much.  I don't want them to get rid of them because they mercifully block my view of the stadium on gameday.

What is a memorial stadium but a giant gravestone that people desecrate with the consumption of junk foods, elimination of human wastes, and a ritual brain skettifying 'sport'?  The Hill is above all this and should not be forced to bear witness to such depravity.

I feel really bad for whoever ku beats to end this streak.

It'll have to be Iowa State or Kstate post-Snyder. I really don't see anyone being bad enough to lose to them in the next two years unless  Beatty has some sort of recruiting gems lined up.

I think Tech or WVU are capable of an un-inspired 11AM performance sometime this decade.  Maybe even TCU or Baylor.

Depending on what happens with Baylor it could be an intriguing game the next two years

One of Kansas Football's great 'what ifs'... In some alternate Universe, we hired Harbaugh after we fired Mangino; Harbaugh made us much better than Mangino ever dreamed of doing; he left after 3-5 years for the NFL; we hire Bubba Cunningham after Perkins gets clipped for being a criminal; Bubba hires Fedora after Harbaugh, and we're a perineal Top 25/Bowl team with a newly renovated stadium that is packed every Saturday.
