I don't know why anybody would thinks loosing a JUCO recruit that has one year to play is a big deal. The problem wasn't going to be solved by Amardi.

It's a big deal because we don't have any big men on our roster other than 6'-6" Thomas Gipson.

But, yes, as long as we're fine with assembling a roster to play in the Big XII that doesn't include a big man or any big man depth in 2013, then this isn't really a big deal.
With or with out Amardi we are going to have to play 4 a guard system. I don't think Amardi was going to be better than a DJamer with marginal improvements. The lack of big depth was created along time ago before Fincher didn't qualify or before we didn't land a JUCO big. Weber really needed Diaz to be better or needed very good big in the 2012 class. Neither he had much control over. He could of also landed an elite big this year, but we all know that wasn't going to happen.

could have. he could have also landed an elite big this year, you rough ridin' jackass. also, this staff has had two recruiting classes, but apparently deserves no blame for the lack of size on this team? go eff yourself, dork.

i think it's weird how everyone pretends martin's 2012 class didn't exist because they went elsewhere when kstate hired weber.

Upshaw would of been nice to have on the current roster.

If Frank could of closed on Jeter, he looks like he is going to be a quality high major wing.

It's official Jack Karpetyan is going on a visit to Kansas State this weekend. Next week he and Coach Middlebrooks will announce the decision.
Not about this, not about this at all.  :curse:

This guy is said to be a real diamond in the rough, and for good reason.  Finding any info on him is real tough.

He appears to be Lorenzo Mata's half brother, so basketball is in his genes.

So long as his grades check out, somebody needs to be jumping all over unsigned senior Jack Karapetyan from Los Angeles (Calif.) Cathedral Prep. A 6-foot-7 forward, he can play at either the three or the four and is skilled. He can shoot with range, he is clever around the basket, and he is good with the dribble. He plays strong, he's tough, and he seems like somebody capable of helping on the upper mid-major to lower-end high-major level sooner than later.

People in Cali don't give two shits about Kansas.  Contrary to what KU fans think.

Interestingly, his other offers are actually from low-mid majors (outside of maybe the Beach). Meh, whatever. We'll just oscar him after next year anyway.

That says as of April 11th he didn't have any offers.  Like not even from the low majors.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.
