Pretty much everything I've had from Schlafly has been good.

Want to try their irish stout.

Their oatmeal stout is pretty good,  never had their Irish.   I'll have to look for it.

Never seen/had it.   The rest of their stuff has been good enough that I'll prolly throw one of those in a mixpack just for the hell of it.

:excited:

WOW. Spreading the word about FIDLAR could possibly be the most valuable aspect of this thread.

I'm posthumously naming this Song of the Summer 2012 (could probably carry over through 2013 too).

Free State's Winterfest is good.  Didn't realize it was an IPA until I got it home.  Was not disappointed.  Free State is another brewery that I enjoy most of what they produce.  Guess I'm getting old because I'm not longer a fan of breweries that really go out on a limb with their stuff.  I like IPAs but I'm not trying to get into a dick measuring contest over who is drinking the hoppiest beer.

Hmmm... I drink a lot of IPAs and rarely for dick measuring purposes.  From a style standpoint, an IPA has nothing to do with dick measuring at all.

Also has Big Sky Brewing Company been discussed?  They make like Trout Slayer and Moose Drool?  I love the little Montana sayings on the underside of the bottle caps.

Only had Shocktop's pumpkin, it was okay.   Not really a big pumpkin guy.

Good for you.   Their are a lot of hipster type douches who do go overboard with their IPA fetishes.   I like hops but I don't need an IBU of eleventy billion for me to drink something.

I still like IPAs,  I just outgrew the dick measuring.   I guess that's probably true in other aspects of life,  as well.

Eh. I was just giving you a hard time. Drink what you like.  Personally I like a hoppy beer, but only if the hops are there for balance.  These ultra dry, 109 IBU, bitter mo-fos can GTFOOMF.  JMO.

The last beer in a long-gone seasonal sixer hurts.

Having a hard time finding Snow Day in sixer.    Goebel has it in twelves but that's all I've been able to find lately. Not a huge deal but I prefer to buy two different sixers overall single twelve pack.

Really? It tastes like someone barfed on a pumpkin pie then put it in a blender with a busch light and poured it into a pint glass.
