OT, what does everyone think about this movie getting the dragon tatoo treatment?  I never thought they could reconcile the plotline iwth an american audience, but i read something that spike lee made it even more incesty.

we discussed it a little in the unofficial movie trailer thread, but i'm intrigued. i don't know how ready american audiences are for ultra-violence like the original, so it will be interesting to see how that plays.

I didn't think the original was that violent at all. Especially after seeing the main actor in I Saw The Devil. Is the American version going to take place in some backwoods part of the US?

pretty hard to top the crap that went down in that cannibal's house, but in comparison to movies coming out of the u.s., korea is way out there.
