more pleasing in texture and flavor. its hard to really compare though because i only black cherry from my garden and i only red cherry from the store.

i would say they are less tangy, thinner skinned, deeper in flavor, somewhat sweeter than store bought red cherry tomatoes.

In my experience Hidden Valley Ranch packets are never really used just to make actual ranch dressing. They are used in some recipe.
