I don't think I'm particularly keen on lab grown meat but I can't really put my finger on why. Probably because I don't understand the science.

The solution is high density housing but nobody wants it, kind of a pickle. Guess we will find out what the breaking point is on housing cost / income ratio before a societal change occurs.  Maybe someone will figure out how to mass produce / 3D print houses that people actually do want for significantly cheaper than it costs today.

4
The problem is even the filthy capitalists ITT already agreed we need more regulation

Damn, star seed has been in Europe so long he might have squatters rights now

Seems like we need to do a better job of incentivizing the development of cheap housing.  Would be totally on board with that.

If you have only one or fewer children you get a house subsidy?

7
Looks like less people it is

Are they playing in 6 ft deep pools?

Why bother chasing pennies when you can snatch up all the prime real estate? (Plus, bonus! The artificial scarcity allows you to drive the price up even more)

Don't those idiots know we can just build more houses and erode the price of their investments?

11
So there is a need in the marketplace and the greedy capitalists aren't beating each other half to death to supply it and profit from it? Maybe capitalism is dying.

12
What's the solution to reducing housing cost to income ratios?

Build more housing?

What's preventing us from doing that right now?

Battle doesn't seem like a thing anymore.  Visiting Gonzaga this weekend after Nova a few days ago.

The story is he wasn't very thorough in his original recruitment and promised his mother he would take all the visits. If you believe such things he already silently committed to KSU and told them he is just going to take the two visits to make mom happy.

I handled some Tordon in my youth , the reaper is probably coming for me too.

The cable company and Verizon and the new fiber company that just got installed are engaging in fisticuffs for my internet dollars near daily. I think soon they might be paying me to use it.

I'm sure the vast majority of Ahearn fund raising is from high net worth individuals.  Damn near everything is named after Carl Ice.

NIL is a billionaires playground, any attempts at grass roots fundraising are just token effort to go through the motions.

Inflation pressure killing that market while pizza and the like thrive. Look at places where $10 will cover a couple of meals. They're kicking ass.

Where will $10 cover two meals?

Guys love Tang, they just aren't going to shoot off their own foot if the bag is available elsewhere.

Honestly if my options are everyone continues to eat highly processed nutrient deficient food unchecked at current pace or the same plus weiner falling off drugs to combat it I'd choose the weiners falling off. We could just stop eating the shitty food and avoid all the weiner falling off stuff but we have proven we won't do that.

24
I assume they have a finite window to use them because they either arent safe for continuous useage or the drug companies know they will lose efficacy in prolonged settings or both.

Can you take it indefinitely? If not I don't see how it works long term.
