Jerome Tang Coaches Kansas State Basketball / HAWKWEEK
« on: January 20, 2020, 02:41:05 PM »
once again the schedule makers have us starting conference season in lawrentucky and it all sets off tomorrow night against the hawks during HAWKWEEK pt 1.

they absolutely do not match up with us at all in the paint.  doke has regressed every year he's been within 100 miles of coach bill self.  i don't know anyone else on their roster but i'm sure they are all driving brand new H2 hummers bought and paid for by doug compton and scott (pot) pollard.  i'm also sure that they're all overrated soft scrubs who would call a charge in a pick up game.

my guess is we run them out of the gym.

defending b12 champs:  89
burger boy rejects:  66

cats take pt 1 of HAWKWEEK in lawrentucky in a blowout.

there is absolutely no denying that the klieman era has been an unmitigated disaster.  when does it end?

sean snyder is the so of our homegrown legend and knows what it takes to win at ksu.  I guarantee you that he would have melded this team out of iron.  we would and should be undefeated had the mustang done his damn job and made the correct hire

Kansas State Football / quick question-
« on: October 05, 2019, 05:06:55 PM »
are we too good?
too well coached?

I see a lot of little things that seem that we are way better than the score says .

32
a lot of football to be played before then but assuming our cats team runs the table, how does brent try and slow down messingham?  or whatever his name is.

honestly don’t know much about defense so i’m asking some of the non browns if you could chime in

33
there is absolutely zero chance that this mississippi state team slows down this kansas state offense, they lack the physical playmakers it takes to go up against messingham's offense (which I refer to as, "the mess").
we are markedly better than this sec team in all three phases of the game and this will be the best defense that the bulldogs see all year in starkville.  i 100% believe that klieman intends on sending a message to the sec and would be shocked if he doesn't run the score up on them this saturday.

heading into the 4th quarter with a +30 point lead should be our goal against subpar teams like these guys

if all goes as planned our starters will get a much needed rest headed into the bye week so we can begin preparing for the b12 teams

34
ok i know that this site is filled with a lot of older dudes (and dudettes, hi D GALE LMAO  :fatty: ) who already go to k-state or old balls who already graduated.

can you seasoned cat vets articulate some pro tips in this thread that will help me become the stud that i want to be on DAY 1 as a KSU CAT?

GO CATS!

Kansas State Football / now accepting ALL BURNER team nominations
« on: August 06, 2019, 08:40:10 AM »
when it comes to analyzing 2019's burners, obviously most of the heavy lifting has already been done by my team but as is the case with most  years, we're accepting nominations from our readers as well.

if you have anyone who needs to be considered for our 2019 all burner team please nominate them here, tia

tons of crap has been made here and at other sites about oscar's lack of ability when it comes to the x's and o's and we have all seen his meltdowns in the ncaa tournament time after time.  with that said, i feel like oscar is probably the 4th best coach on our staff when it comes to winning the "big game".  i'm not trying to beat a dead horse but we all know how many examples there are of him sucking crap when the lights are on and when it really matters.    :dubious:

obviously a lot of time for questioning things in the off-season and what all of my study has led me to is that BRAD KORN (from KORN'S KORNER WITH BRAD KORN) is probably the most experienced and best x's and o's guy on our coaching staff.  i ran a ton of data through my database and honestly brad would have won our first round game against uc irvine by 27 points.  essentially, KORN is playing 6-D chess while this oscar fellow is playing chutes and ladders.

there's a lot of groundswell pushing to remove oscar and get KORN into the KORNER OFFICE which we all know is his rightful spot.   i guess the question becomes, is there anyone here close enough to TAYLOR to push this puppy over the finish line and get KORN the promotion he deserves?

you can PM me here if you would like more info about the analysis but essentially, every day that goes by with oscar in command is a day that is stolen from our players and fans and dollars stolen from our coffers.  please leave all comments in this thread and please discuss this matter privately and NOT in the open hallways of your offices.   :Lurk:  the coup d'etat is one that will best succeed if the person whose head is being cut off doesn't know that he's on the guillotine.  tia.   :Chirp:

on one hand i say, sure it is.  that's what he signed up for.  we didn't hire a coach that is going to settle for a mid-tier bowl match ups.
he has 4 natty's coming into this job, he should be held to that same standard.  but is it realistic?

i  say yes.  we should want to win those natty's and we should EXPECT to win those natty's.  if this klieman character isn't the guy to get it done then he needs to be fired asap, it's as simple as that.

how many natty's is good enough though?  1, 2, 3?  more?  will he always use an excuse if he doesn't win? <--that's what oscar weber does and it works.

1 natty = attaboy award
2 nattys = contract extension and pay increase
3 nattys = pay increase (again)
5 nattys = rename stadium
0 nattys = can his ass, pronto

the b12 championship better start coming through MHK next season.  we have no time to waste being shitty, we fired our last three coaches for that exact reason.

Essentially Flyertalk / game of thrones, or game of throw up
« on: May 15, 2019, 09:50:00 AM »
so much talk on social media about the game of thrones.  you can't go anywhere without someone talking about the game of thrones and who will sit on the iron throne.
hey everyone, there's a real world to live in that doesn't include dragons.  get a life and quit talking about cersai and the night king.  ohh cool a bird with three eyes, have you never seen a snake with two heads?  i have and so have most people.

message to the game of throw up fans, STFU!

41
most shows definitely don't take themselves as seriously as this truckload of clowns does.
i can name 2 dozen shows off of the top of my head that are all significantly better than thrones.

game of thrones fans remind me of micro-brew drinkers from a few years ago.  or most of the posters in the music thread.  all v similar.

it seems like we've been running roughshod over the big 12 forever even though we've basically only been owning it since the last 10 years.
and even though hoops is a hob sport, when you couple all of the success of football and basketball it kinda seems like we've outgrown our conference membership and should start strongly looking elsewhere.

imagine the feeling of once and for all getting rid of lil hayseed hawk in lawerentucky and moldy gingers from iowa state.

the big 12 can't handle two programs the size of ours and texas and i think we should flip bowlsby deuces and apply for membership in the ACC.  many of the flagship schools in that conference share our pedigree of excellence.  there's blue bloods which we can safely now consider ourselves one of, and a lot we could offer once we break the b12 anchor we've had around our ankle.

if the acc comes calling, and i'm pretty sure that talks have already begun with them and ADGT, we have to take flight and let our purple wings fly freely.

any reason to stay in b12 other than to continually own these noobs year in and year out?

Jerome Tang Coaches Kansas State Basketball / we must forge ahead
« on: January 03, 2019, 10:24:25 AM »
when washington was crossing the potomac and it was snowing, he said, "we must forge ahead", and that's exactly what our cats mens team must do today.

yes, last night was a horrific.  a game that cat fans never expected!  we are better than we are playing?  no, i don't think so.
but we went to an elite eight last year!  we shot the ball lights for long stretches of last season and then benefited from the first ever 1 seed 1st round upset.

now we're back on earth and looking at starting conference 0-7 with the only possibility of a win being at OU.
but we must forge ahead

at texas tech
west wirginia
at flood aggie
at ou
tcu

this conference needs more nortards

Jerome Tang Coaches Kansas State Basketball / horns down syndrome
« on: January 02, 2019, 09:18:20 AM »
hello fellow cat fans, it's game day for our hoops team (mens) vs the texas longhorns.  espnu @ 8 pm.
any time we play against texas, i get a really bad case of horns down syndrome.  i would imagine every true blooded cat fan does.

many questions going into tonight's game but the biggest one is how bad is this cat hoops team?  how bad is shaka "the beak" smart?
yes we had a convincing win against george mason but i'm still not sold on this cats hoops team.

hopefully our guys come out tonight with a strong case of horns down syndrome

up next for the roll to purples are the vanderbilt commodores.  the wildcat men are coming off an electric win over doc sadler's southern miss eagles.
who will win the game?

las vegas sports books are on fire with action for this long awaited match up.  some say that the odds-makers haven't napped yet this week because of the action on this game.

the game is in kansas city's famed, Sprint Center which finds its home in the Power & Light district.  while a ku game at the Sprint Center is an afterthought for many kansas citians, the entire city turns purple when the wildcats come to town!

the dossier- unlike the southern mississippi, the vanderbilt is a real team and are coming to knock the champion wildcats off of their king's nest.  the vanderbilt will come out slow against the elite eight champion wildcats and be intimidated.  but then they will compete and it will be a tough game for the 4th place big 12 championship wildcat men.

bryce drew is the coach

Jerome Tang Coaches Kansas State Basketball / up next- southern miss
« on: December 18, 2018, 10:46:56 AM »
as I looked through my dossier on southern mississippi, a couple things caught my eye.
first, they played (and beat by 60 points) a team named Rust.  but they weren’t done yet, because they followed up the Rust beat down with a convincing 34 point victory over a team named Millsaps.

let’s hope that The Flush my bro can lead our cats to a win against these world beaters

the game is wednesday night iirc

Kansas State Football / post here if you're "all-in" with "klie-man"
« on: December 11, 2018, 11:18:12 AM »
well folks it's been a wild ride the past week or so as LHCBS has decided to step away from coaching and put his legendary nike cortez's in the closet forever.
wow!

lots of emotions for all of us.  to be sure! but let's get down to business!  we hired a new coach.  KLEIMAW!

chris klieman!  natty champ trophs line his office.  it's like a lab scientist put steroids into Meth Lesmell's body and made a bigger and better version of the stink ass north texas loser.
he's going to do remarkable things at kansas state cats university, and he's ready to roll to purple with us all!

i am all in, with chris klieman!  are you?
