I just sent an email from Gmail...and before sending Google said that it noticed that the email contained the words "are attached" but did not have an attachment on the email...

Yeah.  Everyone knows Google scans your e-mails.  However, I'm somewhat comforted to know that they make an effort to provide some return value besides targeted advertising.

What's not cool is Google setting a trap, catching you in a lie and then confronting you about it.

Yeah well I wasn't even talking about an attachment to the email. The use of "attached" had nothing to do with email attachments, so that shows how much Google knows.

have we talked about facebook, messenger, instagram, other apps, etc listening to conversations and then posting ads about what was talked about the day before? That's been creeping me out lately.
