What's your favorite cut of beef?

Obvs, the filet mignot is the best but I'm a big fan of ribeyes grilled in my backyard.

True story I had older family in town and one night they decided that for dinner we would drive 30 minutes to the nearest outback steakhouse where the man ordered a filet well done. And you know what, I enjoyed the whole trip!

This is always a great idea. I don't always use herb infused, sometimes I just take sliced butter and put in on the steak after I pull it and let it rest for a minute or two so it can melt.

What seasoning do you like? I often just use kosher salt with ground pepper, but packaged montreal steak seasonings are decent too.

Ribeye, but I've been eating more strips lately. If I had my druthers it'd be a 40-day dry aged thick cut fillet, medium rare, lightly salted.

Beef doesn't hold a candle to fresh deer or elk backstraps though. And axis deer, my god.
