I responded with a sharply worded email explaining that this family member cannot attend the family reunion this year because it's on a friday and that i'm a little insulted that the family decided to schedule the reunion at a time when some family members cannot come.

Anyhow, the good news is that we know a hot shot has seen this idea. The better news is that now we know who to email in support of the idea. Her email is [email protected]. Further, I have it on high authority that Tracz has heard the salespitch on this idea.

pretty sure Joni Smoller used to be Joni Weinman when I interned there. way to go Brian. she was pretty cool iirc.

the marketing dept seems to be significantly less terrible in general now vs. 2006, so hopefully they actually listen and consider this, instead of just laughing off any new ideas like they used to.

Its true. I interned for Joni too and she was cool but they literally listened to about zero of our ideas. Maybe it was because we were dumbass semi alcohol-dependent 19-20 year olds, but I've heard they've got a lot better, I could at the very least see this song, which I think is great, being played by the band.
