i started watching the hbo mini-series John Adams. what a cast! we've got half of Sideways, laura linney
, Stannis, my guy tom wilkinson, everybody's dad's guy david morse, justin theroux (!), the annoying canadian guy that gets punched in In Bruges, and my goodness Danny rough riding Huston as Sam rough riding Adams. and i haven't even seen Hamilton yet, who is apparently played by dark eyed handsome devil rufus sewell. this show was created before hamilton became the beatles, so i'm curious what his character will be like. oh and the series was directed by Tom Hooper. who's that? oh just the guy who directed the king's speech, les mis, and the danish girl. I'M NOT DONE YET! the DP is my other guy tak fujimoto, who in my eyes is responsible for silence of the lambs being the excellent classic that it is.
a lot of the dialogue apparently comes verbatim from john adams' extensive journaling, which is pretty cool iyam
has anybody else watched this?
