If only there were a way to secure the border so that we could keep all the dangerous people out, but allow all the poor people in to glom onto welfare, drive down wages, have their babies, and ultimately replace the black vote for the Dems.... Cute, but dumb. Even if the GOP embraced amnesty with open arms, the hispanic vote would still go at least 70/30 Dem. These immigrants, while socially conservative, are poor and hail from heavily socialist countries, and regardless, the GOP will never be able to outbid the Dems in the amount of "free" stuff to be handed out.

So it would be a disaster for the GOP. It would also be a disaster for the country. Adding millions more impoverished people onto our already massive and maxed out welfare system is just stupid.
