Kynard finished fourth yesterday, so he won't be making the trip to Tokyo. On the women's side KSU alum Janee Kassanavoid was three inches short of finishing in third place in the hammer and making her first Olympic team. Unfortunately, zero K-State current athletes/alums will be competing for the U.S.
The rest of the teams around the world will be finalizing their rosters in the next few weeks and some athletes might compete for other countries. Many countries simply choose their athletes vs. the competition model the U.S. uses, so it's hard to say who might make their countries' respective teams.
