I just cant figure out why Selby would want to go to the KUs of the world.  I would assume he would want to still be playing during the second weekend of the NCAAs!
I figured he would not want to be forced to play a second, third or even fourth year.

Poor Tony Mitchell. Clearly he received a quality, grade A education in Miami and was then held up by the pungent pile of crap that is the Dallas Independent School District :surprised:

I figured there had to be a reason a top 15 recruit was only being recruited by the K-State's and Mizzou's of the world.  Now it all makes perfect sense.

With your deep 7th grade AAU knowledge you should know he was recruited by a large number of schools.

Are you getting simple?

Selby is smart, he knows Kentucky is going further than KU.  He just wanted to play for a team that wasn't going to play very long so he has less games to get injured in, and more time to prepare for the draft.  Kid is smart.  Plus he's getting paid.  Seems like a good choice.

Yeah, since we've never landed a top 15 recruit before.  :jerk:

Had great abilities to be Big 10 All Conference come his senior year. Poor kid.

As a teacher, I can say that it is odd that he passed the tests when compared to the normal success rate. However, these tests are usually given to students that failed the course, whereas he passed them earlier at his previous school. With that, the DISD's investigation was not needed and should be spent on any possible KU recruits.

Day after day.

Week after week.

Mitchell's record shows 52 days with at least one unexcused absence — roughly one-third of the school year.

Say what you will about moms.  But, seriously though, the dude is pretty much a moron.

But didn't you hear, Tigerboard has concocted the "Frank Martin" conspiracy in regards to Mitchell.

I suspect with the absentee news, they'll add another element to this ongoing saga . . . Frank told him to skip school.

52 days?

That's a serious amount of PS3.  This dude is going to be literally untouchable at Grand Theft Auto when he's in the D-League.

But once MU is in the Big 10, they will literally be swimming in money in Columbia.  Like, they'll all be able to do backstrokes and stuff.

The T Mitch momma fund was literally a drop in the (impending) ocean.
