i guess the imperial threw me off. i have not come across a non-IPA imperial

thanks to innovation in the american craft scene, the term imperial has begun to simply indicate a higher gravity beer (more malt and more hops to create more fermentable sugars).

eff, i think i saw an imperial pilsner the other day, which is an absurd concept in my opinion.

imperial three blind mice is an imperial brown ale, which also seems contradictory to me given that brown ales were pretty much born from english milds, but who rough ridin' cares, right? you are correct, it is a top notch beer.

Boulevard needs to tone it down with the fruit. Some fruit beers are ok but most are meh to awful
