Is a "black lager" considered a good beer, by that I mean a beer for connoisseurs? I love the stuff.

I'm not a beer connoisseur but I don't like them all that much. But I don't like coffee either.

Only had Guiness' and it was horrible. Now, black ales can be fantastic... 1554 is still one of my favorite beers ever.

I was kind of confused by a tweet sent out by The Library today. Is New Belgium discontinuing Belgo? Because if I had to pick, that's probably my favorite beer.

Yeah, Belgo is done. But that tweet is dumb. Rampant and Belgo are nothing alike.

I figured as much. Belgian IPAs and Imperial IPAs are about as different as IPAs can be. Well that sucks. Belgo is amazing. I bought 2 6-packs tonight because of the news.

I'll let you know if we can get anymore and hold it for you.

Rampant is pretty good though. It's not going to dethrone Myrcenary as my favorite DIPA, but it's by far the cheapest Imperial on the market at 7.99 a sixer, and it's good enough to be a $10 4-pack

Just tried Boulevard's Coffee Ale. Great aroma and pretty smooth as far as ale's go. Really enjoy it. Anyone else tried it?
