Deon Murphy ran a 4.28 recently.

and our uniforms next year will not be a new style template, but a "NFL style cut" and a "cotton look", like USC, Michigan, Miami (OU also comes to mind).

I have wanted the "cotton look" for a long time now.

It's starting to come together now... I heard Shorty and cotton uni's do not get along.

It's interesting how his posts with some seemingly legit nuggets get overlooked by the tards on that board... well, maybe not.

Jeepers, you don't suppose there is any chance Deon was perhaps exaggerating?

By the way, I just ran a 4.18 forty, and if USC had recruited me, I would've turned them down flat for the honor of playing for Coach ScarySmart.

One other thing, Murphy says that if Miami, Notre Dame, Florida State, Texas and USC all would have offered him the last minute, he would have turned them all down, because KSU and Prince are about to truly be the next gem of college football.

I believe that he could be in the neighborhood of 4.28 and consistently run in the 4.3s.

Can you give me an example of one of his tidbits coming to fruition? IIRC he said Asante was headed towards KSU. I could be wrong though.

He isn't a KSU source he is a Coffeyville source, so it is ok to take him seriously when talking about someone from Coffeyville.

There was a time when everyone in the know thought Asante would choose us.

I am sure this info came straight from Murphy, so, I trust it.

if the scoop was that murphy recently ran a 4.58, it would be sketchy.

since the scoop is that he ran a 4.28, it's bonafide.

At the end of first semester, Asante told his teammates, coaches, and his girlfriend in Coffeyville that he was going to KSU. Then he left Coffeyville, went home for the holidays, signed with Nebraska, and he's in Lincoln now. His girlfriend had already pre-enrolled at KSU. She was a titch upset.

Exaclty, PW.  IIRC he said that some things had to fall in place for Asante to go sign with K-State, but at the time it looked favorable.
