Isn't air force a 3 pt shooting team?

If so, I like our chances.  We've had pretty good 3 pt defense this year.

Of course, we have to get to that game first by taking care of business at home.

AF is a great matchup for this team. They run the princeton offense and get easy baskets against big, slow defenders. But our small lineup should shut them down since they have no size or athletecism. They also like to really slow the game down and keep it half court which is fine for this team. The credit card thief(gotdweeb) is full of sh*t, and should shut his mouth. I hate that guy.

Threads like this are evidence that we are sure to see some  "Vermont is salty" threads on Wed. night.

Read a KCStar article detailing vermont a bit this morning.

I guess they knocked off Boston College @ Boston College this year, lost by 6 @ AFH, and a year or two ago knocked Cuse off in the big dance when Cuse was a 4 seed.

We should still win, but they're not a bad team it appears.

Vermont is not a bad team.  They remind me a bit of Nebraska with a very good post player surrounded by some shooters, though they do have more depth in the paint.  Some solid players on that team, certainly not a cakewalk.  I expect a fairly tight game most of the way, but our physical play should bother them and wear them down.  I see a single digit game for 30 minutes then the Cats pulling away to win by 10 or so.

like jarr said, i think we match up extremely well with af.  there are tougher games before we would see them, if af advance that far, which is doubtful.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."
