I can only imagine the uproar if a Texas got left out with the credentials we have.
With Kevin Durant, there is a huge uproar because everybody wants to see him play. If UT doesn't have Kevin Durant, then you probably don't get much of an uproar at all. It would be a smaller uproar than what you had for Syracuse this year.
KSU didn't get in because they didn't have very many quality wins and the computers hated them. Also, KSU isn't the type of team that you watch and you come away really impressed with based on how they look on the floor. They are undersized and they play kind of ugly because there is no floor leader. So you are borderline on the objective measures and you don't look very good subjectively.
The people blaming conspiracies and other such things are being ridiculous.
