KSU was 0-4 against the top 2 teams in the big 12
TTech was 3-0
KSU had a crapty non con schedule and also lost to some bad teams. all it took was for your players to buy in earlier and work harder and you guys beat these crapty non con teams.  but they didnt and also lost to osu, who was sputtering.  stop bitching

    The very best.
you've got a little 59-55 on your chin buddy.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

thats due to the increased number of games in a season.  104 teams this year won 20 or more games, shattering the record by 26 teams, which was previously 78.  22 wins does not mean as much as it has historically.

yeah but seriously, think about the north titles and couple that with 59-55.

Then would you agree we deserve a bid?

fatty bringing nothing to the table as usual.  i considered the 10 wins as well. you guys cant disagree that playing in the north helped you guys.  helped ku too, but we took care of business when we needed too.

Yeah but seriously, think about texas tech and oklahoma state and the ford center.

mix those things 2gether.

Then look at that and PLEASE TRY TO TELL ME HOW YOU CAN LEAVE KSU OUT OF THE NCAA'S??!?!?!

so you are saying that in the history of the NCAA there was never a team with 20+ overall wins, 10+ conference wins that played in a power conference that happened to be weak that year?

Honestly, I dunno if coolhawks would be such a huge fan if ku had gone on a 12 year NCAA drought.

A bunch will jump of the wagon in coming years.  But hey, when Aldrich, Reed, and Teahan are your future, who could blame them.

If ku had that record on some off year when they finished 4th in league play, would they be in the tourney?  Probably, rewarded like Duke with a 6 seed.  Assmongers.

coolhawks is just like the committee -- going on perceptions instead of facts:

ku: 6-2 (.750) vs South, 11-0 (1.000) vs North*
KSU: 4-3 (.571) vs South, 7-4 (.636) vs North (3 losses to #1 seed)*
TT: 5-5 (.500) vs South, 4-3 (.571) vs North*

One deserves a #1 seed.
One gets left out completely.
One gets an at-large based on "tougher division".

Here's a fact:

Arkansas: 0-3 versus three Big XII opponents.  7-9 in a truly weak, unbalanced conference division (#1 team is in NIT)
Kansas State: 4-1 versus exact same Big XII opponents.  10-6 is a "supposed" weak, unbalanced conference division (#1 team is a #1 NCAA seed)

Fact.

FACTS:

first...

Tech vs. the South: 5-5 (swept aTm but swept by Texas, lost @ Baylor)
KSU vs. the South: 4-3 (oopsy, you mean a winning record vs. mighty South?)

and I'll add that IF KSU had a full compliment of the South schedule then KSU FACED the TOUGHEST SOUTH ROAD games. KSU played @ OSU, @ aTm, and @ UT..those 3 went a COMBINED 20-4 @ home in Big 12 play. If we had the South schedule then we already went there and would receive a HOME GAME...you telling me we couldn't have a realistic shot at taking Texas @ home? Hell, we'd beat OSU like a drum in Manhattan.

Second....

COMMON opponents in conference play @ same venue and I threw in NDSU

NDSU: KSU 83 @ NDSU 81...@ TTech 85 NDSU 81
@ aTm: Texas A&M 69, KSU 65...TTech 77, Texas A&M 75

The only reason Tech is in is because they beat ku and A&M (twice).  It has nothing to do with what happened against the rest of the conference.

How many 22 - 10's were there?  I agree that 20 wins does not mean as much as it used to, but 22 would, IMO, account for the "COLA".

First time ever a Big XII team with a first round bye in the Big XII tourney didn't get in.

Couple that with the fact taht KSU absolutely bitchslapped #5 two days before the selection...and it's obvious that someone on the committee is a HUGE Arkansas booster.
