I think elite eight would be good enough for the north image.

    The very best.
2nd round would help the image.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

1st round loss would help my self esteem

Final Four, but not win it.  If ku gets past Villinova in the 2nd round, they've got it easy to the elite 8.  I'd also like to see A&M, UT, and TT atleast make it to the sweet 16, but I think A&m will lose to UL and UT will lose to USC.

Who wouldn't want to watch any and all developments that would result from another first round loss?

I like Niagra vs. ku.  6 of their players assaulted their baseball team's pitcher.  MCMW.

WHAT DETERMINES THE "PLAY IN" GAME????   HOW ARE THOSE TWO TEAMS SELECTED TO BEAT EACH OTHER UP TWO DAYS PRIOR TO BENDING OVER AND GETTING HAMMERED BY THE NUMBER 1 SEED??

The real question is: should the winner of the play-in game get some sort of point handicap for their next game?  I mean, if I learned anything today its that games don't count when one team has to play another game before the game in question.

But, to answer the question, Final 4, I guess.  Plus a total exposure of the Big 12's bowing down to the South teams (that's the only way I could stomach ku succeeding).

First round exit! That way when we win our first round NIT game we can say we have more post season victories than you this year. Bring on Vermont!

Your disguise as being a K-State fan isn't working.

Whatever. I don't have to prove that I'm a K-State fan to you...I'm just waiting for Huggins to get this thing rolling. Wait til next year.

I voted 1st round.  It's not realistic and I don't hate ku that much but... there are some Jayhawk fans (basketball only, mind you) at work who cannot stop themselves from declaring how much KSU sucks in every sports discussion that goes on up there.  My vote is for them.

How do you NOT hate them after putting up with that crap everyday?? That's exactly why everyone else hates them.

Because I can respect a good team when I see one, despite a few douchebaggish fans.  I felt this way about the 2000 OU football team too.  They totally earned my respect that year but I wouldn't mind seeing every OU fan at Arrowhead that night we played them die in a roaring fire.     :D

We're terrible people, actually.

We have a class at ku that's required: How to be Hated in the Sports Arena listed under Asses239

You can't be racist and like basketball.
I used to not want ku to do well.  With Huggs, I don't care - we'll be fine no matter what.  Let 'em win the damn thing.  It'll just make Huggins and co. work harder.

I truly could not possibly care less.

I can't believe how bummed I am about this.  I might not even take the day off on Thursday and Friday.
