Four reason we won’t make it.

And those four reasons are Butler, Air Force, and Xavier all by losing games they should have won, and by Arkansas for winning games they should have lost.

That’s four at-large bids pissed away that allowed crappy teams to steal away bids from teams that deserved them.  The numbers just don’t look good right now for K-State.  And I am curious if the NCAA will take Texas Tech but won’t take KSU after we mauled them.  That would be one of the biggest miscarriages of justice the NCAA has ever pulled...

I don't think AF is going to get in to the tourney.  They have not won a meaningful game in weeks, if not months.  As for Arkansas (and NCSU for that matter), they must win today to get in and I don't see that happening.  If we don't get in, we can blame ourselves and the following people:

1. Mark Fox, Nevada coming back to screw his former employer and laying down in the semis of his conference tournament.

2. Xavier and all Huggins hater in Cincy for doing the exact same things

3. Wooly for scheduling road games at CSU and UNM.  We are a Big 12 team for christsakes, we should not have to pander to those teams.

4. Whoever the CU athletic director for either not firing Patton or extending his contract.  CU turned out to be on of the worst 75 teams in the country and we were forced to play them twice.  They are even keeping ku's RPI down.

That said, I think we are in.

Speaking of betting, K-State is 500-1 to win it all right now at the Las Vegas Hilton.  Anybody want to put their money down with mine?

We're out because we always get screwed when we have to be selected for something.  See:  every major bowl game where we've had a shot as an at-large.  At least we should be used to it by now.

Random Selection Sunday Thoughts:
1. Air Force is not in or even close
2. Last spot may come down to KSU and Drexel
3. If KSU wins at Colorado State or Nebraska we are not having this discussion
THE BEST 65 teams are not all in the NCAA Tourney

The only way we get left out is if there are upsets in the ccg's today or the commitee looks strictly at numbers ie: rpi.

No.  Having a cousin who graduated from K-State and now lives in Lawrence makes me feel a little grimy and gross.  My bets are all about money!

Air Force is most definately in. They have a way better resume than they had the last 2 times they got in, especially last year so they will put them in because they are a heart warming story.
