It reminds me of when all the experts would give mid-majors no respect in the past, it took them a while to come around to the fact that there was good basketball being played outside of the ACC and Big East.  Now they are having a hard time to deal with the fact that a team which hasn't been a serious factor in college hoops for the better part of the past two decades could be a player again.

The good news is that Lunardi and the other -ologists are not in Indianapolis.

bilas says no way drexel odu are better than ksu or stanford.  Digger and bilas tearing lunardi apart.  Lunardi bases it off of road wins.  bilas saying that odu and drexel wouldn't be considered if they were in a major confrence.

Lunardi has no basis for his picks, he can't explain Illinois in over purdue or tech in over ksu.

We are the 3rd team out on the Last 4 out. Even if Xavier and Nevada won...we would still be OUT... dont understand him. But I don't think I am the only one

If you did not watch it I am dead serious when I say that he couldn't defend his picks to digger and bilas.  you would think he would have some kind of explanation.  He had NONE.  He really looked dumb.

Reaslon 43 why Lundardi is not all of that

Friday morning he has a struggling Air Force team as a 9 seed.

Sat morning all of the sudden he has them out.  They magicly fell behing all the 10 and 11 seeds....lol

Joe was just a moron for having Air Force as a 9 seed after they lost 4 in a row.   Other people had them out, so he followed suit the next day.

Don't top 50 wins come at the time you beat them not at how they end up in the rest of the season? Meaning if its a top 50 team at that time its a top 50 win. If not then its not.

no if a team gets into the top 50 I believe they count it, not sure though.

It's obvious after watching him that lunardi is just a number cruncher and not a bball analyst.

I sure hope this is true, that would give us 3 RPI top 50 wins as of today. Now, if Texas can get another win (too bad it wouldn't be against A&M), they might get into the RPI top 25.

I hope our players are hearing all of this sh*t.

USC, Tech, and UT are all top 50. They count it as top 50 if they are top 50 right now (it doesn't matter what they were when you beat them). OK State is 34 RPI so I think maybe Texas beating them could bump them up two spots...

Jay Bilas is the best in the business, IMO.

K-State should be in after the win over Tech yesterday.  There's no way the 4th place team in the Big 12, playing in the semi-finals of the Big 12 tournament, should be left out of the Big Dance.

The fact that the top three are all potential Final Four teams and will probably be seeded 1,2,3 in the Big Dance and then the fourth team is supposedly out is complete bull crap. There is not any reason that that would happen.

Because in the BCS, a team like George Mason would never make the Final Four.

Remove the stupid "win the conference tournament" automatic bid and give the automatic bid to the league champion (no co-winners, you'd have to go by the tie breaker) and there really would be less deserving teams left out of the tournament.  The Horizon, WAC, and leagues like that have no business getting 2 teams in the tourney.  It wouldn't happen though because the big conferences "make money" on the tournaments, but they fail to realize the "cost" of them.

Both are equally ridiculous the way they are run right now.  That was the correct answer and the point.  Thanks for your contribution.
