My roommate just left to go stand in line at Bramlage (it's 1:14pm), and his buddy called and said there are probably just under a grand there in line already. His buddy got there at 6 this morning.

I figured I'd get decent seats going 2 hours early. Plans may have to change. Part of me is really happy that students are this excited about a basketball game, but another part of me is pissed off that we can do this for the ku game, yet have empty seats at other Big XII games.

Yeah, they always set themselves up for a huge meltdown.

No system...just stand in line.

I remember the good old days of the Snyder era when we could tailgate until 20 minutes before kickoff and still get seats between the 40s.  All in all it was more fun when it got to the point that we had to make a mad dash for the seats the minute the gates opened.

I got sick of going early and being the first couple hundred but still being near the back ebcause every one was saving 5 seats each

I doubt it if we can somehow manage to keep 6,000 student tix.  that's a shltload.
