Peete returned to Pullman High and renewed acquaintances. Recalls Swanger, "He was a true gentleman. All the teachers talked about how nice it was to have Fred in class, and it was the same way coaching him."

nice find.  i wish peete would shoot more 3s and less 2s.  frustrating.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

PEETE OUT

Fred Peete, who transferred to New Mexico State after two years at Kansas State, suffered a broken foot against Utah State.

It's not certain how soon he'll be able to come back, or if he will at all this season.

Archibald said there is either some tendon or ligament damage, too.

That's a big blow for the Aggies. Peete was the team's best perimeter defender and a dependable scorer from the 3-point line.

Thanks for responding.  I am really interested to hear what opcat thinks.  Maybe you can tell him to let me know after you guys finish up your mock OSU game plans.

    The very best.
Thirty cents to someone who can find a video of the "Miracle in Casper"
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.
