You can't be racist and like basketball.
  • When ku makes shots, they're hard to guard.
  • They're better than we are.
  • We couldn't score 97 if they left us in the gym by themselves.
  • We'll get guys that can...can't right now.
  • We didn't defend ball screens the way we practiced 3 games.
  • Wasn't a good effort.
  • We have some guys that when it gets really hard, they don't want any part of it.
  • I'm disappointed.
  • Without JB, it's hard.
  • That's a bad loss.
  • Jermaine competed, had a whole bunch of folks that didn't.
  • He shined because he was the only one competing.
  • So did Blake Young.

My guess would be guys like Lance and Akeem who suddenly disappeared.

Huggins is excited about next year.  I could hear it in his voice when he mentioned the guys being brought in next year.

  • Don't know much about CU.
  • Today, we need to worry about us.
  • Didn't compete.
  • Still have a chance.
  • Complaining about pouting.
  • We don't have a senior that will make money playing basketball (!)
  • They'll be at the YMCA or rec league (!)
  • They were giddy, full of themselves.
  • Sometime, you gotta grow up and be accountable
  • Can't run plays that were drawn up.
  • Bennett didn't block out

Word.  "There's not a senior on this team that's going to make any money playing ball."

I dont know if its the fact he lost his first rivalry game, or that we got whooped bad, but I havent heard him this upset after a loss. Great thing is...this will drive him to workin even harder and gettin the guys to work even harder.

Please Akheem, Harris, and Cartier...dont go in a corner and sulk the rest of the yr and disappear.

He was this upset earlier in the year.  And those guys have recovered after being called out before.

he´s just pissed.  there are several on the team that can make some money playing bball.  martin obviously, but i would bet harris has a pretty lucrative career as well.  maybank probably.  afeli obviously, at least if he so chooses.  wright maybe not.  at least not at the same level.

You weren't listening earlier in the year.  He was more upset after some of the early losses.

Martin and Hoskins are about the only two imo.  Maybe Harris, but that's stretching it.

Pervis makes money professionally.  Heck, even Travis Canby landed somewhere in Europe.

If Canby can get paid, anyone on this team can.

Huggs seems to be really calling out Harris, Wright, and Hoskins.  Those guys combined for 11 minutes in the 2nd half.  Cartier at least fought a bit the 2nd half and got to the line 8 times.  Maybank and Young with 19 minutes a piece in the 2nd shows what he though of their effort.  Stew had 16, so he wasn't really ticked at him.  Kent had 14 2nd half minutes; probably more than he's had all Big 12.

Look at the minutes in the 2nd half.  The guys he was ticked at didn't play.  Harris 1 minute.  Wright 4 minutes.  Hoskins 6 minutes.

you seriously would not believe how many bball players are employed worldwide.  and harris is exactly what a lot of the lower level teams look for in their american players.  he´s bouncy and can hit 3s.  he´ll sell a few tickets in some snowed-in town in poland.

That was another great post game.  I listened to it in my seat at AFH while the crowd filed out.  Huggs just kills me.  He was outstanding.  He was really pissed about the defending the pick/roll.  Those remarks about nobody making money in pro ball had me rolling.
