Special emoticon Tigerboard shout-out edition!

*Student section was ELECTRIC. Inspired cheering and probably the best I've ever heard it. If we can somehow keep this thing rolling and be at 8 or
9 wins <-----( :dancin:sweet Jesus that would be awesome!

)going into Big Monday with ku then the roof of the Fred might blow off and all of us will be swept like little ToTo's over to Ahearn to finally slay the beast in Hat town.
*Chairbacks were not even close to being full. The eye of Sauron is firmly upon you chairbacks.

*Huggy getting the "old folks" into it was classic and they showed up kicking and screaming....finally.
*Bob Krause at one point looked like he was ready to trade his life of academic service for a blunt force blow to the head of Ed Hightower.
*Bill Snyder thoroughly enjoyed the scene from "Big" where they played Heart and Soul and Chopsticks on the huge foot piano. Happiest I've seen him since Darren Sproles left town.
*41-19. WTF? Unbelievable.
*Cartier Martin/David Hoskins hats off Seniors. You guys played your asses off and deserved this victory. Especially Cartier though. The effort on the boards was FAAANNNN-TASTIC!
*Stefon Hannah 6-8 from 3

Thank GOD that we shut down Lawrence, this could have been a horrid, long, cold night.
*Akeem: 4-9 fg, 1-1 3pt, 3-4 ft for
12 points/8 boards/2 steals Great game.
*Bennett- Once he quickens up his feet, leaves more space (he's 7'3" he can spare another 6 inches of space off his man) stays vertical at all times and doesn't let his man take him off the dribble he's going to be an absolute force. When he was in they didn't score any easy buckets and nothing from inside 15 ft. With his big body he's going to get some bad calls against him but he will learn. Was a force in there, kudos JB. Also, hilarious when he came out with his own pizza box and demanded $5 a slice. Does that break any NCAA rules?
*Great, scrappy come-from-behind win. Lance struggled. Option #1 had some tough times at the point, but others picked up the slack (namely Blake Young/Jermaine Maybank) and three SOLID performances out of Akeem, Cartier and Dave. Akeem is becoming my favorite Wildcat quickly. Unlike Cole Aldrich he actually does remind me of Rodman.....well he has a little Tony Kitt in him at least and for now that's plenty good enough.
