What does this say about the current "ku's main rival" status of KSU compared to MU?

Was Brandon Rush right when he said that KSU is his main rival?

ku fans are pulling for Mizzou because they feel sorry for them, and they don't want KSU to gain any more momentum/confidence.  Also, I think that Mike Anderson has some very Jim Wooldridge-esque qualities to him.  This is very endearing to the ku faithful.  They love his apparent naiveté and the other intangible loveable loser-ish qualities that he has displayed thus far.

I welcome this new hate scale prioritization ku fans have done with KSU.  If we are threatening enough to them to force them to root for Missouri, we must be doing something very, very right.

You can't be racist and like basketball.
Is my "reacharound" comment still up?

One only need to look at history.

The largest crowds ever at AFH for basketball  . . . 4 of the 5 largest were against KSU.

The largest crowd ever for football at ku . . . against KSU, KSU appears on that list 8 or 9 more times, MU . . . twice.

Why do you think they're moving the MU vs ku game to Arrowhead.

So that both schools can share the shame/blame for poor "home field" attendance?

Not sure it's still up...but someone made a reference to it later.

Maybe MU is their FB rival and KSt8 is their bball rival.

That would be a very sensible rivalry allocation.

That is rediculous.  When they played earlier I was hoping both would lose.

And its hilarious to read Tigerboard.  Several preemptive "the refs better let them play" threads implying that the officiating played a legit factor in the "game they gave us" in Columbia.

Heck, most of us would agree with the "let them play" angle, b/c we're a physical team; but if they let MU's trapping turn into double teams that could spring Patton I'm going to get upset.

Huggs just did what Wooly should have done for years - attack "slapping" by using the dribble to draw body contact.  Timidness just kills you against teams like this and the old Roy teams.  Huggins doesn't do timid.

I think we should change our mascot from "wildcats" to "grapes"

Or maybe "Grapehuskers"

or "grapeshockers"

ku just gave us another reason to burry MU by 15+!  We can get more inside their heads before 2/7!

I'm sure it has nothing to do with conference standings.

It's hilarious. They hate so much because we talk so much sh1t despite the fact they have owned us in bball.

Gotta love it, it's only going to get worse for them as Huggs eventually makes us the better program.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

ku fans "like" Anderson the same way they liked Wooly because they both offer no real threat to ku.

In a related story, I like Mangino.

In another related story, Mangino has beaten K-State 2 out of the last 3 times.

I like Mangino as well, but if they fire him they can't do any better

ku football being successful is something I simply cannot ever see.

Yeah, the first football program in history to reach 500 losses can do it, but ku can't.  Brilliant.

Or....2 out of the last 6 times, but whatever makes you feel like he's not the football version of Wooly.  Mangino doesn't even have a quality win in 6 years at ku.

We were a magical story. Thankfully Snyder got the "heavy lifting" done for us so we don't have to deal with that stigma anymore.

No... that would be 2 out of the last 3.  Get it right.

Nebraska was a quality win.

You mean the unranked Nebraska team that went on to win 8 games?

Yep, worldbeaters for sure.

Why is it some ku dorks insist on validating themselves (or so they think) by putting things like "BMW" before their name?

LOL.  I'm assuming you're joking about this.  An 8-4 (5-3 at the time you played them), unranked NU team that was coming off it's first non-bowl season in 3 decades.  I take back my comparison to Wooly, at least Wooly beat a ranked team.

It was a quality win. Not sure why you're trying to argue that.

Of course, the fact that Mangino has an identical conference record (11-29 vs 10-28) to Terry Allen's is very LOL.

How many times are you going to ask the same question?  It's my initials.  It's not my fault that your world revolves around an automobile.

Oh, the irony.  Mangino was left with a team that might have been one of the best in Division II.  They went 2-10 that season.  I guess we should all blame Huggins for the lack of talent on K-State's basketball team.

Of course, you're so insecure about the fact that Mangino has beaten K-State 2 out of the last 3 times that you'll try to use any sort of argument that makes yourself feel better.

I suggest we allow BMW to keep running his mouth.  It's sort of like watching someone unwittingly dig his own grave.

Why keep spinning concrete facts like W's and L's?

You are getting into the same cycle Wooly fans got into. Spinning his horrible conference record.

Thank you for validating what we've been saying since the hiring.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.
