I don't have a high enough basketball IQ to know how good Bennett's going to be, but he is unquestionably on his way to being the most entertaining thing to hit KSU basketball in a very long time.
"When I'm on the court, I'm trying to be the angriest person out there. I don't care if I hurt you or not."

Beg J-Mart to tell you about Bennett's first encounter with the local press.
He topped himself last night, Trim. It was uncomfortably hilarious.
I could tell from the SID quotes that it had to be entertaining...we'd all love any additional details.
Freshman Center Jason Bennett
On his goals...
“I want to make it to the tournament. That’s my main goal right now.”
On the play of David Hoskins...
“He gives me energy. He has the heart to play basketball. I think he’s the best player on the team, and I look up to him. He’s a good athlete and a good friend. He can tell me if I did something wrong. He’ll take me back and make me do it right. I see him as a team leader.”
On how small Chicago State was...
“I just tried to give it all I had. I don’t care how big they are.”
On his goals for blocks in future games...
“I want to beat my record now. The next game I’ll try to get more than eight and then try to get more than 10.”
On the upcoming game against Nebraska...
“I’m sure that we will be pretty good against Nebraska (on Saturday). We have the day off tomorrow then we just have to come in Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and work hard. They are another team that will try and take our house. I just have to play 100 percent.”
