Oral Roberts wants a word with you.
This might be a completely new concept for you, but teams can actually
improve throughout the course of the season. For example, early on in the season, K-State lost by 24 points to New Mexico. A month later, you won by 16. Get it? Got it? Good.
Look at some of their scores from this year, hell they beat Baylor by 4 points at home. Chalk them up as another road game we can win.
Did you learn anything from the Texas Tech experience? K-State is not the same team without Bill Walker. You have absolutely no scoring threats down low, no perimeter shooters, and no size. You will be lucky to finish .500 in conference. Baylor, I might add, won by 5 at Colorado St. They have 5 guys averaging double figures in scoring.
We'll have a shot at Kansas this year because our defense will overwhelm them.
That makes absolutely no sense at all. ku has beaten #1 Florida, and you think your defense is going to "overwhelm" us? K-State doesn't even rank in the top 50 in Division 1 for any of the defensive categories.
we held them to 55 and 66 last year.
What happened last year is irrelevant.
I see similar games this year, untill next year when we will pretty much own them and the entire conference.
Good luck. Texas is barely top 25 even with Kevin Durant, the best freshman in the country. K-State might have a chance at 4th in the Big 12 next season.
