You're drunk early tonight.

After a 6-pack of Zima BMW is now a UNC (The Best Team In The Country) fan.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I was at the game.  OSU is horrible...can't handle pressure at all.

ku looked good.  If they get games out of Rush and Kaun like they had tonight, then they'll be tough to beat.

Tonight the beer of choice was 2 Below (by New Belgium Brewing Co.).

UNC is not the best team in the country.  We already beat #1 Florida and we would do the same to UNC.

If you want to go by who beat who, you got to go with Oral Roberts or Pitt (I believe they beat DePaul today)

    The very best.
My thoughts: Oklahoma State plays terrible defense. Look at some of their scores from this year, hell they beat Baylor by 4 points at home. Chalk them up as another road game we can win. We'll have a shot at Kansas this year because our defense will overwhelm them. However their defense will own us as well, we held them to 55 and 66 last year. I see similar games this year, untill next year when we will pretty much own them and the entire conference. jmo just my 2cents. imo of course. my thoughts.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

This might be a completely new concept for you, but teams can actually improve throughout the course of the season.  For example, early on in the season, K-State lost by 24 points to New Mexico.  A month later, you won by 16.  Get it? Got it?  Good.

Did you learn anything from the Texas Tech experience?  K-State is not the same team without Bill Walker.  You have absolutely no scoring threats down low, no perimeter shooters, and no size.  You will be lucky to finish .500 in conference.  Baylor, I might add, won by 5 at Colorado St.  They have 5 guys averaging double figures in scoring.

That makes absolutely no sense at all.  ku has beaten #1 Florida, and you think your defense is going to "overwhelm" us?  K-State doesn't even rank in the top 50 in Division 1 for any of the defensive categories.

What happened last year is irrelevant.

Good luck.  Texas is barely top 25 even with Kevin Durant, the best freshman in the country.  K-State might have a chance at 4th in the Big 12 next season.

This place is about to become Dax Everyone vs. BMW showdown central.

Revised.  I get the feeling BMW will be doing this longer than hillwalker, markpee, mt, or booyeah ever did.

I don't post much on here but BMW has me very confused as a basketball fan.  In the same thread you explain how teams improve during the year explaining the Oral Roberts loss.  However, you lose to DePaul 1 week after beating Florida.  By your logic is DePaul the best team ever or do you have to come up with a different excuse to keep your theory intact?

Yeah ku looked good . . . OSU looked like two crusty turds.   Lousy defense, couldn't hit their ass shooting the rock, didn't pick up on D, didn't stop the ball, stood around and spectated on the boards . . . when a team plays like OSU did, a talented team like ku is going to blow them out.

exactly.  And there will be games where we could play just as bad.  The thing we have going for us is that all the teams that could capitalize on problems like that we play at home.  We play like that at Baylor or TTech and they beat us by 6 or 8, not 30.  OSU played that game at the wrong time.

OSU folded.  Pretty simple, they brought 8 guys into Lawrence last night, Self went after them and it worked.
#1 team in the country? Nope.
And if Julian "Magic" Wright played on my team I'd shoot myself.
His level of gayness may hit that of some former Roy players.

Yup, this was all OSU being a crappy team.  only the #10 team in the nation sucking all night long, just giving the game to ku.  thanks for the breakdown guys.

ku is overrated.  OSU is WAY overrated. They don't even deserve to be ranked in the top 25. Congrats ku, you beat up on a really crappy team with only 8 players.

Okay . . . if OSU is up in ku's face, boarding well, shooting the rock well and ku still beats them like that, sure.  But when  OSU doesn't bother to stop the ball coming down the floor, recongnizes like a blind man, and basically attempts to rebound like they have concrete boots on, then I can't put as much credence in the win.   Like I said, if a team is going to come out and play that crappy against ku on nearly every fundamental level then yes, ku is going to blow them out.

First road game of the season.  We have improved since that game as well.
