Kentucky is a great basketball school with great tradition, but I can't take anything on their message boards seriously.  I've seen some seriously dillusional posts on that board.  I remember a couple about how Bill Walker was a heavy uk lean(did he ever even list uk?)  And that Michael Beasley was a silent commit to them. :jerkoff:

Kentucky fans are indeed delusional.  I remember when Shagari Alleyne committed to them they were all planning their trip to the next Final Four despite the fact that Shagari tended to trip over the lines painted on the court.  The real truth, known to only a few, is that when god created ‘The Commonwealth’ he said “I will let you either have a great basketball program or I will let you have teeth”.  The rest is history...

uk fans blow ass. THis Moses guys seems like exactly what this team needs, an athletic PF whho can rebound and score. I was hoping theyd make a run at a JUCO PF like Thomas or Hendrix. But Id take Moses. It would also be nice to piss off uk blowhards.

4-star on Rivals

appears we just entered the mix...like a week ago.  No mention of us in an update on 12/5 but talks about K-State on 12/14 and 12/15

he's a good friend of bill walker's and having sutton at the same school couldn't hurt either

was going to reclassify as 2008 but changed his mind to stay as 2007.  his ACT, that he took this fall, must have been good enough

does not consider himself a Kentucky lean, though has been a uk fan for a while, and reiterates that everyone is equal on both scout and rivals

will take his visits after the break

uk keeps putting off his visits (must be a second priority for them)

I wouldn't be surprised if we try and sign both him and tyree in the spring.

Sutton goes to the Patterson school in Durham while Moses is at the Patterson school in Kernersville.  At least those are the towns in their Rival's profiles.
When I was a kid growing up in the projects, I used to dream of going into space, of escaping the slums, of killing an Ewok!

More than Tyree?
I"d want Tyree more than Moses, but that being said Huggins needs to kick Yearby off the team for "violating team policy" and open up a scholarship for this kid.  If the kids on '07 recruit we'd only have room for just Tyree, correct?

Only way we can sign 2 is if someone decides to transfer now.

it is within the realm of possibility that pullen or sutton won´t qualify.  same is true with moses.

Love to have Moses and Tyree.

I think we'd have room for both.

If we do, look out world in 2007-2008.

Yearby should hit the row-add.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Yearby leaving wouldn't count as turnover*

*He never arrived.

basketball is different than football.  In basketball, you can sign as many guys as you want.  You just have to have 12 guys on scholarship at the start of the next season.  We could sign a whole new team if we really wanted to.

EDIT: A poster on GPC uncovered that Sutton and Moses go to the same Patterson school.  They just have different teams.  Sutton is on the prep school team and Moses is on the high school team.

Another name came out.  Jamar Samuels who is apparently down to us and Tennessee. (http://www.wataugademocrat.com/2006/1204web/hendrixleadshope.php3)

Patterson, like many schools, has several BB teams- a prep and a HS team.

nice find on samuels.  this staff hits patterson hard.

edited to ask:
rival´s last update on samuels indicates he was going to reclassify to ´08.  anyone know if he ended up doing so?
