Isn't the Dallas Football Classic in the Original Cotton Bowl? Would be cool to go to the Pinstripe bowl. Litterally it's going to be freezing cold.

The Pinstripe Bowl (titled via sponsorship as the New Era Pinstripe Bowl) is a college football bowl game that will be held annually at the new Yankee Stadium in the Bronx section of New York, New York beginning on December 30, 2010. The bowl will pair the fourth-place team from the Big East Conference against the seventh-place team from the Big 12 Conference... The inaugural game is scheduled for December 30, 2010.

The Dallas Football Classic (tentative name subject to sponsorship) is a NCAA post-season college football bowl game that will be played beginning on New Year's Day (January 1), 2011 at the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas, Texas. This game replaces the Cotton Bowl, which moved from its long time home to Cowboys Stadium in nearby Arlington in 2010, and will pit the sixth-place team from the Big Ten Conference against a team from the Big 12 Conference and Conference USA in alternating years.

Hopefully we'll finish better than 7th in the B12 and pull a better bowl than New fracking York City in winter! Plus, it's designed as a baseball stadium, generally triangular; their proposed football layout will have the seats pretty damn far away from the field.  I haven't lost anything important in NYC, no interest in going there. No thanks!

I like the part where they have Nebraska in the Fiesta Bowl. I think we have a good shot of winning the Big 12 this season.

why do we always seem to get projected for these really bad Bowls that sound like some bank caught a windfall and decided to start a Bowl game. Im shooting for Alamo or Cotton, at least they have some tradition.

Hopefully we'll score a decent bowl and not get the so-called "Pinstripe Bowl", i.e. a new bowl, shoehorned into a baseball stadium, outdoors in NYC in winter.  Nope, absolutely will not go!  I dislike everything about NYC - incredibly expensive, noisy, crowded, pain in the butt to fly into and travel around.

Wouldn't it be great to play the purple Wildcats from the Big 10!  The anouncer would be seeing purple all over the field.

It's not just the defense, though that unit was as awful as any time this season.  But, the QB carousel isn't helping the offense - the unit has regressed as the season has gone on.

Defensively, K-State has backslid two seasons. The progress made last year on the defensive side  of the ball has eroded.

To me the offense has been ok.  How good can one really project it to be when you lose your leading receiver and you have Division 2 level QB's?  The defense continues to get worse and worse and I feel that goes entirely to Cosh and his schemes whatever they may be?  Every team we have played this year has done whatever they have wanted to us except ku.  The only times the teams get stopped by us is when they make dumb mistakes themselves.
