I forgot to mention that we have Championship games in the Sun Belt, Horizon League and Summit League tonight. The one to watch is the Horizon League game. If Butler doesn't win, like Gonzaga didn't win last night, they're going to The Dance so another bid will disappear for a Bubble team.

South Florida wins in the Big East Tournament keeping their hopes alive. UConn looks bad so far vs. St. John's which is NOT good for them.

Seton Hall 109
Providence 106

The Hall tried as hard as they could to blow a 29 point lead but they couldn't finish it off.

Andy Katz's Big XII Tournament preview:

Most intriguing team: Kansas State

How will K-State handle the expectation of being a favorite in the bottom half of the bracket? The Wildcats have actually played better away from Manhattan than at home. They exhibit the toughness of coach Frank Martin. But this will be an interesting test for the Wildcats. As the No. 2 seed, Kansas State is now expected to reach the championship game and possibly meet Kansas for a third time. An all-Kansas final in Kansas City would make the Sprint Center the place to be for any ku-KSU alumnus in the surrounding area. It would probably be a Big 12 dream for this venue this season.

Also, tonight we've got the Northeast Conference Tournament Final between Robert Morris and Quinnipiac and the Big Sky Tournament Final between Montana and Weber State.

Oklahoma is trying to pull a Providence. Who would you rather play if you're the Cats? Oklahoma would probably be a better chance at a win, personally I think we can beat either, but Oklahoma State would be a revenge game.

It looks like Notre Dame is about to finish off Seton Hall in a virtual "stay alive" game.

Oklahoma State predictions? Can we at least act like we understand what March Madness is? Geez! If I wasn't running this thread you people would be clueless.

We're done for the night. Tomorrow the real fun begins as all of the major conferences will be under way. I don't believe we have any Championship Games tomorrow though. Can anyone confirm this?

Cincinnati just upset Louisville!

What to watch in the next couple of days:

ACC - Georgia Tech should beat North Carolina but will have a tough one with Maryland tomorrow

Big 10 - Minnesota needs to beat Penn State tonight and Illinois needs to beat Wisconsin tomorrow

SEC - Florida needs to beat Auburn today and that looks to set up an elimination game with Mississippi State tomorrow

Mountain West - UNLV is probably in but a 3rd loss to Utah wouldn't be good. SDSU probably needs two wins

A 10 - Rhode Island and Dayton probably needs to get to the Championship game and St. Louis could make a big statement by beating Rhode Island again

Other teams to watch are: Utah State probably needs a trip to the Finals of the WAC Tournament and UAB and Memphis have work to do in C-USA.

Memphis loses in C-USA for what feels like the first time in forever

What's the deal with Nebraska tearin' it up in the Big XII all of a sudden? They fall by 6 but if not for some mental errors, someone needs to teach them to foul fast at the end of games, it might have been a different story.

I heard some conversation on Around the Horn today that Syracuse's loss may cause them to have to go out West. Interesting that everyone seems to think that we're going out West and I've also heard people say that we'd beat them if we got to play them. Final Four here we come?

Also wondering how the Onuaku injury may effect their seeding or placement (ala K-Mart for Cincinnati years ago)

It looks like K-State locked up a 2-seed tonight.  Congrats on the big win against Oklahoma State.  That was your best game of the season, IMO.

Updated again to include start times for today's games. It looks like Houston is going to steal a bid out of C-USA.

It's quite alright. It's about time someone else join the conversation. I was about to mention the same thing.

My back hurts from carrying you people. *whispering* Ohio State might be going down again! Ugh! Illinois misses a layup at the buzzer. Not sure it would have counted anyway. Overtime!

Ohio State - Illinois headed to a 2nd OT

Ohio State holds on. This Championship Week has had its fair share of good games but everything seems to be holding steady.
