Gregory is a flat out badass!  Michy-who pissed in your cherios?  One dislocated shoulder and the other one all but destroyed and he started and competed well in one of the top conferences in the country! Some people just want to bitch.  I have a ton of respect for the guy, and I would love to have employees who had his work ethic and commitment.  I'd be willing to bet that everyone here has missed work more than a few times with an illness or an injury--except for Michy, who apparently eats beans and nails for breakfast and roofs houses with his ass every afternoon.

I just don't think he deserves to be commended.  He's an idiot, and really didn't do sh*t for us, and could have damaged his shoulder for life if he didn't already.  Sorry if I don't think he deserves a banner in his Jardine apartment for "almost making a bowl game w/ a bum shoulder" next to his "slightly better than Coffman" banner.

Also, Snyder and the team doctors should also be ashamed of themselves for allowing him to play.  If you don't think they should be ashamed, then what Gregory did wasn't really all that impressive.

He was better than anyone else we had despite the injuries. If he decided the pain was too much or the doctors didn't let him play we probably lose 2 or 3 more games.

Rusted, if you ever go to a k-state football (ver. unlikely) game can you wear a shirt that says "I am michigancat" so Gregory can take a break from his grad assistant job to pound your teeth through your throat

please list the three games that we would've lost without gregory. you can't. i'm sure he's a very nice person and i bet that i'd like him quite a bit if i knew him, but you gregorytards and your "GG singlehandedly won us games" bit is just way too much for me. carson would've had the exact same record. probably would've had a better shot at beating mu or nu though. 3 games....pfffft.

seems like for people on here who are constantly making fun of athletes who appear to lack toughness, more respect would be given to someone like gregory
  :curse:  :yuck: :-X :frown: :blindfold: :blahblah:   :banghead: :hahano: :bootyshake: :bs: :chainsaw: :ku: :nono: :runaway: :angryMJ: :forked: :poundon: :flamethrower: :bitchslap: :baring: :bonk:  :buh-bye:  :imaloser:

You have too choices:

1)  Snyder and his doctors are a horrible human beings for playing him
2)  Gregory isn't tougher than any other player

No middle ground.

So, there is no in between, simply because you say so?  You're a real dumb ass much of the time.

No, there is no in between, because my logic is sound.

    The very best.
I will say GG was better than evridge.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

i see it:

1. gregory wants to play
+
2. gregory is injured, but tough
+
3. Snyder wants his best QB on the field
=
A good story

i'm sure snyder probably didn't want to play gregory and risk his death on the field or whatever, but he probably also realized gregory's desire to play was greater than any other factor and besides he was the best qb we had so he might as well let him play

This still makes snyder a selfish, sh*t human being.  (I have no problem with this, FWIW.)

What makes me sad is that a QB with no shoulders was the best option we had.  How bad must SLamur be?

What makes me even sadder is that GG might end up being the best QB KSU gets for the next decade....

grant's injuries put him at no risk for permanent disability or life changing injuries beyond that of any other football player.  he won't be playing in the NFL so it's not like playing hurt risked his draft stock or anything like that.  QB's have played before with similar injuries to throwing shoulders (chad pennington) so it's not like it's unheard of.

a lot of guys have played with separated shoulders.

a lot of guys have played with torn labrums.

a lot of guys have played with a torn meniscus.

some QB's have played with torn rotator cuffs.

michigancat, please summarize your athletic career for me so we can see exactly why you feel my brother is a loser.  as disappointed as you were with the loss to nebraska you put in zero time the weight room, zero time in meetings, zero time studying film, and zero time on the practice field preparing for that game.  so while you may think you were heartbroken after that loss, remember that the 105 REAL FOOTBALL PLAYERS on the k-state team actually had something invested in it.

i'm not going to get into the gregory vs coffman debate, but grant turned the ball over 5 times in 8 games as a starter, coffman turned the ball over at least 6 times (4 ints, at least 2 fumbles) in 4 games.  protecting the football is kind of an important thing in football

In all seriousness, does yoga count as weight room work?  I put in quite a bit of yoga time. :dunno:

I doubt if many guys have played with all of those injuries at once though.

Don't mind michigancat, he doesn't believe anything he is posting anyway.  He just acts like an ass to get a rise out of football fans for some reason.
